Passing a supermarket, Kekelin asked, "We have ten minutes before boarding. We'll be airborne for a day and a night. Do you need any snacks or drinks?"

"Definitely," Zeng Shen said, leading Kekelin to a specialty meat shop. Under her surprised gaze, he purchased a large box of beef jerky and proceeded to the first-class lounge.

"Mr. Zeng seems to love meat," Kekelin remarked, eyeing the box of jerky at his feet.

Opening a bag of jerky, Zeng Shen replied, "I'm a carnivore. Arrange for beef and pork suppliers to sign contracts with me."

Kekelin fell silent, her blue eyes deep as she gazed at the planes outside.

After a while, she spoke, "When we return to the U.S., I'll leave the research institute, but I'll relay your ideas promptly."

"Where to next? Back to your family?" Zeng Shen asked.

Kekelin shook her head, a hint of fatigue in her voice, "Not sure, maybe find somewhere quiet for a while, perhaps meet a man for a fling, then return to my family. Perhaps I'll become a tool for their alliances."

"Should I call your family cold and selfish, or say your love life is too American, having a fling and ditching?" Zeng Shen commented.

Kekelin sighed, "Without the mine's location or making any sacrifices, my family can't gain Dean Jack's trust and support."

"What's your family's name?"

"Kekedongton."

"Got it," Zeng Shen nodded, eyes narrowing, "What's the force behind Dean Jack?"

"That's not for you to know," Kekelin said softly, closing her eyes, "If you're unprepared, this trip to the U.S. might be one-way."

"Thanks for the warning," Zeng Shen smiled, feeling unexpectedly good, "You might be my first friend in the U.S."

"What did you see me as before?" Kekelin asked.

"A casual woman," Zeng Shen replied after a moment.

"Hmph," Kekelin snorted, turning to gaze out the window, saying no more.

Zeng Shen smirked, enjoying his jerky, occasionally using Telekinesis to manipulate the luggage overhead.

Soon, the plane departed Yunbai Airport, soaring into the sky.
