"Ahh!" Screamed a girl that was changing her clothes, naked, she covered her naked body with the clothes in her hands, and we just stared at each other while she blushed heavily.

"Excuse me." I closed the door.

I fled the scene, it was fraught with danger but I managed to pull it off as I'm way too good…. Cough, as for the structure of my new temporary home, it compromises of 5 rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a toilet, and two bedrooms. The room where I found the girl was the second bedroom, the room next to it didn't have anyone in it, so I can confidently say that my favorite cousin is not home, even though I don't recall seeing him, but I can confirm that he's definitely going to be my favorite.

"But if my fav is not here, meaning that one cousin's left, that must be…." Right, it was the girl-

[You should probably go apologize.]

"Who is it! Who spoke!?" My eyes scanned the hallway, couldn't see a single soul.

[I'm in your head, there's no need to look around.]

"I must've gone crazy, I'm gonna go tell my mother about this…" I sighed as I walked to the main door.

[NONONONO, listen here you little shit, if you tell anyone that you're hearing voices in your mind then they'll label you as a freak and a weirdo, and trust me, you don't want any of that.]

"Jeez, ok, don't scream, what's your name?" I sat on the floor, talking with this mysterious voice.

[My name's Trev, and I reckon yours is Silius?]

"How do you know that?"

[Well… You can say that I just know.]

"Just like that?"

[Yes, just like that.]

"Sooo-"

[Look here, you offended that girl right there, go apologize, then we can continue talking.]

"Oh yeah, you're right," I got up and headed to the room I just intruded in earlier, I lightly knocked, waiting for a response.

"You can enter." Said a voice from behind the door.

I slowly peeked through the little opening I made from the door, the room was plain, with white paint, a closet in the corner, and in front of it were two separate beds and a small table separating both of them. My cousin was standing next to the bed, her arms were crossed, and she was intently observing me. She looked a little older than me; brown hair and black eyes, oh, and she was taller than I.

"Are you going to peak at me forever, enter the room, and close the door." She ordered.

I was hesitant, she was way too calm, which made her suspicious, very suspicious.

[Get in mate, she won't eat you.]

I entered the room and closed the door, all while keeping my eyes on her.

"You're the cousin that'll be living with us, right?" She asked while staring into my eyes.

[Holy shit, this girl needs to chill]

I ignored his comment and responded, "Yeah, and I'm sorry for earlier, I didn't mean to…"

"It's alright, it's not as if you had any malicious intent. My name's Elise, what's yours?"

"My name is Silius, nice meeting you." Those words automatically left my mouth, and for them to come out felt really heavy in my mouth.

"Ok, Silius, I'm going to present to you some rules that you must follow if you want us to stay on good terms. First, don't ever enter my brother's and my room without permission, second, don't touch what's mine until of course you gain permission for me and me only, and lastly, three, don't ever disturb me. Is that understood?" She asked with a chilly tone.

"Yes, I promise to never break those rules!" I replied while extending my hand for a pinky promise.

"Oh and third, don't overstep your boundaries, now leave the room." She turned away and opened her closet, I could see multiple uh, paper gathered in a piece of leather or something, she picked one of those objects and laid on her bed, leaving my hand hanging in the air.

[Leave boy, it's not worth it… You may have lost the battle, but you didn't lose the war.]

"What do you mean?" I mumbled.

"Didn't ask you to leave?" she asked.

"Ahahahaha." I barely managed to escape.

"So what do I do now?" I asked Trev.

[First, talk to me using your thoughts or whatever I don't know so that you be speaking to a goddamn wall that's dumb and weird.]

'Stop complaining a lot, you're being annoying.'

I thanked Trev and headed to the free bedroom, it had one big bed unlike the previous room, but it was still as plain, it just had one big picture pinned on the wall, containing her, Two men, and one woman, they all embraced each other. Well, who cares, the main dish was the big bed before, and as you know I'm quite tired because of the little adventure we had today, and-

[Snore]

I fell onto the bed, sleeping.

[I really need to help a kid from a dirt-poor country to become a goddamn emperor, just my fucking luck. the kid doesn't even know what a book is. Sigh… I'm gonna go watch some Netflix man.]

"Silius, wake up… Wake up, you little Rascal."

"Hmm.. 5 more minutes, please…."

"I guess you don't wanna meet Urgan, your cousin." Smirked aunt Caroline.

"URGAN?" I jumped from the bed, "Where?"

"Hahaha, you'll meet him while eating dinner, you slept through the whole afternoon." She laughed. "Follow me."

Aunt guided me to the dining room, it wasn't really a room, just some wall that was dug next to the kitchen. It contained a simple table surrounded by chairs, one of the chairs was occupied by Elise who was holding that 'object' I talked about earlier, staring at it, and the other was occupied by a boy, he had black hair and black eyes, he looked to be the same age as me.

"Urgan, Elise, this is Silius, and he'll be living with us from now on, treat him as if he was your brother." She introduced me, Elise didn't bat an eye, and Ugan smiled at me and pointed to the chair next to him.

"Nice to meet you Silius, from now on, you'll be my little brother!" Announced Urgan with a smirk.

"Shishishi, I look forward to being your brother!" It was my first time having a friend the same age as I was, most of my friends were rats, and the rest were a bunch of sticks and rocks.

"I see that you've made a friend quickly, ah Silius? Haha." She drank some of her soup while laughing.

We talked a lot while eating, it was so fun, the eating table was never this lively with my mother, don't get me wrong, my mother and I did talk a lot, but three people discussing something while eating was a new experience for me.

"Aunt, you don't look old, so why do you wear that pearl necklace that grandmas wear? I get sometimes confused about you being old or not." I asked.

"How dare you say that my mother is old, don't forget that she's the one that took you in to live with us." Elise looked furious for no reason.

"Cool down, Elise. He's just a kid, he probably can't differentiate an old woman from a middle-aged one, old women are quite rare to see in this area, most of them die of hunger before reaching their 50s." Replied my Aunt.

Well, I guess my Aunt is not an old woman.
