Xander controlled an earth wall to erupt in the path of the water serpent, but it simply manoeuvred to the right, evading the wall and continuing its charge toward him.

'A living spell from the Creation path of the water element. This is going to be interesting.' A grin appeared on Xander's face as he couldn't hide the excitement of going against someone higher than him in level.

He activated lightning reinforcement and jumped back to widen the distance, but that was when a chromastone dome shot out behind him, stopping him from escaping.

"What the hell are you doing, you are meant to prevent attacks like these!" Xander couldn't help but curse at Slade who was meant to keep the Blackthorn descendant in check.

"I am trying but he seems to have more control even though we are equal in level." Slade complained because he was constantly trying to prevent such attacks, but somehow, the Blackthorn descendant was always coming out on top.
