With just his base speed and physical abilities as a champion, it didn't take up to 3 minutes for them to dispatch the 10 warrior-level bandits.

The bandits planned to rob the carriages and attack the adventures while simultaneously robbing the carriages. That was why they continuously fired spells at both the adventurers and the carriages to deplete their shields.
