My Siren(BL)

What happens when myth meets reality? On the night of his father's grand Hotel opening, Aiden had gone out to the sea with his friends to escape the noisy crowd in the hotel that disturbed his peace. Out on the sea and out of boredom, he had decided to try out something he had never done all his life: fishing. In the middle of the night... along the offshore zone of the sea, the fishing net was casted into the sea. When something tugged at the net, his friends quickly pulled it up and into the boat before it could escape back into the ocean With a sense of achievement, they looked at the net to see what they had caught and to their suprise... ----- Aiden walked up to kai who laid motionless on the cold floor after being pulled out of his tank by his tail. His wet golden coloured hair sprawled and stuck to his pale white skin as the water droplets trickled down to the ground. Aided squatted in front of him and gently pushed back the loose strands of wet hair that shielded his face. Holding onto kai's chin, he tilted his head up so he could look back at him. Upon seeing the hateful gaze of the young merman directed at him, a sly grin appeared on his face "Let me go." Kai said through gritted teeth causing Aidens smile to broaden. Caressing his cheeks softly, he leaned closer to the dripping man and whispered softly into his ears in a deep dulcet voice "No-" [Readers discretion is strongly advised]

Meeting Lilith.

Kai went along with them and had requested that they drop by the penthouse so he could take his bath and have a change of clothes, which they agreed to. In the end, he asked Jenny to come along with him because he felt weary of the men in black.

After he was done, he got into the car, and they drove off... honestly, kai felt really nervous by the sudden call, What happened to him? Was that why he wasn't able to come to school today?

Kai turned to Jenny, who sat beside him in the back seat and had her eyes focused on the moving buildings outside,

"Uhhhm... Jenny," she turned upon hearing her name, "Where is Hotel Royal?"

"Oh, uhhm..." Jenny stuttered. She couldn't tell him that it was at the place where he was taken..."It's a new hotel that was just built by the beach... It's the first five-star hotel to be built in such a location, and on top of that, it's owned by Mr. Clein, the CEO of CM enterprise and he's also Aidens' father." She decided to settle at that. Hearing about a family member of Aiden, the boy was intrigued.

"What does CM enterprise mean?" He questioned, and Jenny smiled at the curious look he had on his face.

"It's an abbreviation of his name, Clein Morris... he owns a lot of brands; perfumes, clothes, hotels, you name it. They're pretty well off and are one of the top enterprises, but they have a really close rival."

"Really? Who?" It was like telling a little kid a bedtime story, Jenny chuckled,

"Inex, they deal with the same things, but somehow, theirs always seems to sell more, even if its just by one per cent."

"It's not like it's a competition or anything. People just tagged them as rivals... you know, just like people tagged samsung and apple as rivals... It's just a jobless person's business." Jenny shrugged and folded her arms. Kai didn't ask anymore questions and turned to look out the window... his eyes widened when he saw the vast sea in the distance. Huh? Why were they back here at the sea... he had already told him that he wasn't ready to go back...

"We're here." The bodyguard who was sitted at the front seat said when the car came to a stop. The men in black got down from the car, and when Kai and Jennie opened the car door to step out, they were stopped.

"Master Aiden said you should wait for him in the car and not come into the building." One said, standing in front of the door so kai wouldn't open it.

"Okay."

"I will inform the young master that you have arrived." The other informed before he disappeared into the hotel leaving his second behind to make sure the duo obeys.

Kai was worried. Did he really want to send him back?

EARLIER

After kai had left, Aiden decided to take one of those morning five minutes naps but ended up sleeping till one in the afternoon...he had missed his morning lectures.

After sleeping for such a long time, it had now made the boy sluggish and more lazy that he didn't even want to go to school anymore for the rest of the day . Kevin would get the notes for him, so there was no problem even though he missed the whole day.

He glanced at the clock and saw that it was thirty minutes past one. If their schedules were still the same, he would return home by two or the latest three if lecturers wished to keep them, when he comes home, maybe they'll go for an official date.

Powered by the thought, Aiden groggily stood up from the bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

Being alone in the house had clouded his mind and thoughts he hardly ever thought about started flooding in. What would happen if he introduced Kai to his parents? How would they react? Especially his father, who was prejudice about same sex relationships. It was what everyone else was worried about, but Aiden never really thought about it until now. The thing was he couldn't imagine being with anyone who was not Kai. The boy had grown on him a bit too much and even right now, he missed him.

When he was done taking his bath, he stepped out of the bathroom and was about to head to the walk in closet when his phone rang, he picked it up from the bed and glanced at the caller ID, it was his sister.

"What's up?" He asked when he picked up the phone,

"What did you do to dad?" The female on the other line spoke sternly,

"Nothing, why'd you ask?"

"He wants you to meet him at the hotel." Aiden rose a brow. He put the phone on loud speaker and placed it on the dressing table so he could listen to her while getting dressed.

"Why?"

"How am I supposed to know? That's why I asked you what you did, you idiot!"

"Aish, so loud! I hear ya, I'm hanging up now." Aiden was about to cut the call, but his sister called out,

"Hey, did you and your boyfriend get in trouble?"

Aiden smiled when she referred to them as boyfriends,

"We're not boyfriends yet. We're still in the courtship phase..."

"Be serious, Aiden."

Such a downer... "Haaa! No, he didn't get into trouble. We've been really quiet since."

"I hope so. Let's hope dad doesn't find out you added a stranger under our family name... it's not you who'll be in danger, I'm sure you know that."

Before Aiden could respond, she had already disconnected the call.

So much for having a dad who was a delinquent. As if his thoughts weren't enough to spoil his day, now he had to go all the way down to the dock to meet his dad.

Even after what Anna had said, Aiden wasn't the least bothered since he knew his meeting with his father wouldn't be anything more than business... even if he did get into trouble, Mr. Clein would do anything in his power to clear his name. These were perks of being the only son.

He sighed and went on to finish getting ready. When he was done, he stepped out of the house to see a black BMW, which was sent by his father waiting for him. The convoy behind was a bit much, but he didn't complain.

"I need to tell kai I won't be home." Aiden muttered to himself and took out his phone from his pocket to dial the boys number but then, he thought of a better idea. He called one of his bodyguards and instructed him to pick Kai from school and take him to the hotel. The bodyguard bowed slightly and left.

As a moral booster, he would go on a walk with him when he was done with whatever his father wanted him for.

The drive was rather quick and when he arrived, he walked into the building and went straight for his father's permanent hotel room. He knocked on the door and waited till he got a reply from the man inside before he walked in.

The hotel room did not disappoint, it was like a living room and a bedroom all together. Farther in was the bedroom portion. The wall at the end of the room was glass which gave the inhabitant the wide view of the sea to horizons and the king sized bed was placed a safe distance away from it, beside it was a reading table. Closer to the entrance door was the living room portion... there were four couches arranged around the weirdly carved glass centre table, an electronic fire place by the wall and a wine bar just by the corner.

"Dad." He bowed slightly to his father who sat on the couch with his legs crossed and a half filled wine glass in his hand. One look and people could see where Aiden had gotten his looks from, despite the mans age, he didn't look old at all.

"Last time you left without informing me" Aiden's father said immediately he saw his son and Aiden bowed again,

"I'm sorry." Aiden said and took a seat opposite the elder. Mr Clein poured a glass of red wine and handed it over to him, and he took a sip.

"Please go straight to the point." Aiden said with a polite, and the older man smiled,

"You'll be graduating college next year. And as you know, my health matters aren't that good and I need to leave for Hong Kong for treatment."

"I never knew you were leaving for Hong Kong."

"Well now you know." Mr Clein said and took another sip from his wine glass. "I need you to look after my business."

The younger rose a brow. Wasn't he already going to take care of the business? That was something that was established since when he was born

"What are you implying?"

"I'm implying that from next month, you'll run the enterprise as acting CEO till I return."

"Ehh? What about your deputy?" Despite the impromptu news, Aidens indifferent composure remained the same.

"As if I'd leave my business in the hands of a money launderer."

"Then Why'd you hire him?"

"I needed his brains." True... for a money launderer to live a life free of government interference, he must've been quite smart.

"I appreciate you trusting me with this so early but what about school?"

"You'll figure things out, I'm sure your fuck boy too can also understand."

Aiden froze, huh?

"What? You thought I didn't know?"

Kai and Jenny had been sitting in the car for almost two hours now and still there was no sign of Aiden coming out... it was already evening and Jenny couldn't wait with the merman anymore, she needed to get home... turned out she had a little brother, Kai understood and thanked her for staying as long as she did with him. The bodyguards let her go and now the blonde was left alone in the car.

"Hey, when is he going to be done with what he's doing?" Kai asked the bodyguard who had been standing there diligently ever since.

"Soon." Came the flat reply.

"Ugh! You said that an hour ago!" Kai whined, obviously getting frustrated and aside from that, his legs were falling asleep. "I wanna go for a walk." He said to him with a pout on his face.

He figured that if he wanted to leave the car, being cold and commanding to the strict bodyguards wouldn't provide him with good results so he decided to plead cutely... it always worked on Aiden so they won't be any different. The tall bulky man glanced at the boy from the open car window and Kai stared back at him with a smile on his face and wide sparkling eyes.

"Please, my butt is sore."

He hit the right pitty nerve. The youngster looked like a wailing puppy and the bodyguard was a sucker for animals despite his intimidating size, how could he say no?!

At the end, he let the youngster go.

Kai had taken off his shoes and buried his feet in the warm beach sand as he strode down the shore. The cool breeze felt nice on his skin and the golden hour rays felt more gentle in his skin... this were the kind of feelings that made him not want to return to the dangerous ocean. He missed his family yes but right now he was at peace and with someone he likes too.

The waves that washed along the shore drew Kai's attention. He squatted and stared at the sea water intently. He then stretched out his hand and submerged it in the water... it burned and stung but this kind of pain he was used to, when he pulled it out... the skin had turned into a shiny grey set of scales and his fingers were now webbed... they were pretty, he thought as he stared at them with dazed eyes.

"Kai?" The female voice from behind startled him and he hid his hand before he shifted his gaze to the lady with short purple hair, standing there staring at him as if she had seen a ghost.

"Kai!" She called again now that she was sure she had gotten the right person, before Kai knew what was happening, she flung her arms around the boys neck and pulled him into her embrace,

"Kai.. I've been looking everywhere for you!" Her voice cracked as she tried to hold back her tears then the realisation dawned on him,

"Lilith?"

"What's going on here?" Aidens voice interrupted the friendly reunion.
