CHAPTER 39

PEACE AT LAST

"How did that happen?" Mia asked.

"A process was exempted from all the processes that will make me a complete human, the king did that so I won't loose my powers to defend myself in any danger" he said and Mia was happy.

"Thank God, all that matters now is that you are here with me" she said and they both held hands and went out.

They went to the company together and as his staff saw him they became surprised and they wondered where he normally go everytime.

He answered their greeting and they both went into his office.

They sat down after they got in and then Mia called the secretary and introduce her to Alexander.

After that she left back to her office and continue her work.

Alexander and Mia also began working, even though they both want each other they suppress the urge and focus on work.

It was finally the day for their final exam, they all went to the exam hall side of what they read.

They got into the exam hall 30minutes before the exam and they revise a bit before the exam time.

After a while the exam started and the question and answer paper was shared to them all and they began.

Karen and Bella were in the same hall while Damien and Eliza were in another hall also.

They all write the exam well.

It was very simple for those that read well but for those that did not read, it feels so hard for them.

After two hours the exam came to an end and they went to prepare for the next paper because they have two exam for that day.

Alexander and Mia after working for some hours they stop and they went for lunch holding hands.

"Wow I am really jealous of their love"

"Their love is really strong, despite how the boss is always leaving her she did not stop loving him"

"I pray for such love also"

The staffs muttered among themselves also and they all went for lunch.

After some minutes they all came back and they continue their work.

Later in the evening around 7pm they all close and they went home.

Alexander and Mia were the last to leave the company and they both went into the car and the driver drove them to Mia's place.

They got there and they both got down and went into her house.

As they got in Mia went to change and after a while she came back to meet Alexander.

"Now let me go to the kitchen to prepare dinner" she said.

"I am coming with you"

"There is no need, just sit" she said to him.

"I insist" he said and she had no choice but to let him follow her.

They both got to their small kitchen and they began preparing dinner with Alexander helping with the ingredients.

After a while they were done and they went back to the living room.

They got there and they not began kissing each other and making out.

They were on this when her father came in and saw them that way.

They saw him and they stop what they were doing.

They both stood up and greet him then Mia took his briefcase upstairs.

As Mia left he sat down with Alexander and he began talking.

"I can see how much you both love each other, despite you leaving her you still came back for her and she also waited for you to come back and I am glad you are back now this shows how much you both love each other"

"I never intend to leave her, it's just situation that made it happen, I love her so much " Alexander said.

"I know you love her a lot and I am really sorry for being against your relationship then" he said.

"It is okay, I know how you will feel for your daughter marrying a monster, but I am glad I am now a complete human"

"I am happy for you now, I give you the full support to marry my daughter"he said

"Thank you so much sir" Alexander said bowing his head.

Mia got there and met them discussing then she sat beside Alexander and hold his hand.

"Thank you so much Dad for accepting Alexander into my life"

"No problem dear" he said then went upstairs to change and after a while he came back and they all went to eat.

After they all finish eating Mia escorted Alexander outside and they both kiss and bade each other goodbye.

Alexander went into the car and the driver drove out.

Mia stood there till the car was out of sight then she went back in to sleep.

They all went in for the second paper and the exam was distributed to them all and it started.

The exam was a bit hard for them all but not for Karen.

He was able to get the answers to all the questions perfectly and he did perfectly well in the exam.

After three hours they were done and they got out and went to their rooms.

The students began talking about the exam, some were smiling while some were frowning because they did bad in the exam.

Karen, Damien, Eliza and Bella were all discussing about the exam also as they were going to their rooms.

Bella and Eliza were both complaining about how some questions there were a bit hard.

"The questions are really twisted but i was able to get them all" Karen said.

"Well it was confusing to me also but I thank God I did it well" Damien said and the girls look at them.

Though the girls also did well but not like the guys.

They got into their rooms ad they ate then they began preparing for the next exam.

They brought out their books and they began reading.

They later sleep around midnight and they woke up early in the morning to prepare for the exam.

Mia woke up the next morning and she prepare breakfast then went to take her bath.

She was dressing up when Alexander call came in.

"Hello my love" she said as she picked it up.

"Hello my darling,how was your night?" Alexander asked.

"It was fine, you were on my mind till I slept off"

"Well it is mutual then, what are you doing now?"

"I am preparing for work"

"Okay, I can't wait to see your face" he said.

"Same here, will get there soon"

"Okay my angel,see you at work" he said and they hang up.

Mia went down after dressing up then she dish the food and down and her father came out also and they ate and then went to work.

Mia got out and met a car park outside with the driver leaning on it.

"Good morning ma'am" the driver greeted as he saw her.

"Morning"

"The boss said I should drive you to work"

"He shouldn't have done this, I would have taken a cab" she said.

Then the driver open the door for her to enter and she did.

The driver also went to the driver's seat and he drove out.

After few minutes they got to the company and she got down and went into Alexander's office.

She got in and met him sitted handsomely on the seat.

He wore a black suit with a red tie then a black shiny shoe with his hair comb well.

He was looking so handsome.

He stood and went to Mia when he saw her.

"Welcome my queen" he said hugging her.

"Why did you tell the driver to come pick me up?" She asked.

"I don't want my queen to stress herself going for cab or public bus, from today he will be the one bringing you to work and don't say no" he said.

"You are such a darling, I will always love you" she said staring into his eyes and then their lips met and they began kissing each other hungrily.

AFTER TWO WEEKS

They were done with her exam and they were waiting for results.

After two days, all students went to their various houses.

Karen decided to know Eliza's place so he went with her to her place before going to his place.

When he got there he discover her house was very close to his house.

He stayed with her for sometimes before he left for his place.

He got to his house and he met no one at home, he took the key from where it is kept and he went in.

He got in and then went to his room and offload his luggage and arrange them all.

Then he call Eliza to let her know hr has arrive, after talking to Eliza he call Mia and told her of his arrival.

Later in the night they both saw each other and they high each other happily.

Their father came and Karen greet him then they all went to eat after changing.

Karen gist them about the school and told them about Eliza also.

"Oh my baby is in love" Mia said.

"Stop it sis, I am not a baby anymore, I am now a grown up man" he said boastfully.

"I see that" she said.

After some weeks their results came out and Karen went to check it to see his result.

He checked it and was surprised at what he got.
