“Dad it's not as easy as you think, she never gives me attention like the other girls she is reserved and always alone bringing myself to talk to her is like fighting a war," he replied avoiding his gaze.

“I will think it's not appropriate for you to be talking about a girl instead of thinking about a girl but since you are the brightest student in college and this does not affect your studies I will give you a piece of advice, lay low and study her for a while," he suggested

“Dad are you kidding me I have been studying her since middle school and she doesn’t give me attention is like am invisible when other girls go crazy when they see me she is just indifferent and doesn’t show any facial expression it's just like she is a cartoon without facial expression I haven’t see her laugh but I have seen her cry in secret it's like that what she loves doing best." he declared

“she must be going through some personal stuff to being crying in secret and doesn’t like to associate herself with other people, How do you know you like her.”

“I don’t know I just started noticing her back in middle school when it was raining and we were all running she just stood in the rain and started dancing. And someone drag her out of the rain she was so cute.”

“you youngsters and your love life am too old for this stuff please go quickly let's talk about this some other time I need to have some rest.” Mr Davis said resting on the bed.

“dad have you eaten? He inquired

“of course your mum and I eat on our way home, she told me she already organize food for you and Lily.”

“yes dad I will go good night.” Steve said attempting to live. Davis grabbed his hand and look at him

“Don’t be pessimistic that she will turn you down, or won’t talk to you be brave walk to her and talk to her there is no harm in trying once she doesn’t talk back to you just know its not in her power its something else.”

“Okay thank you, dad, you are the best." He praised and walk out of the room. Bianca come in after him

“just some girl problem he is having." Mr Davis replied standing from the bed

“so Steve have some girl problem that he can only share with you am jealous." she said sitting on the bed

“Don’t be, you also make me jealous when you talk to Lily  sometimes you know." he replied

“Go freshen up first okay." she said pushing him to the wardrobe
