At the club.

“I won’t be,” she said and walk outside the house. I wish I also have such freedom Lisa doesn’t do any household chores all she does is go out and dirty the house. While I do the laundry, cook with her mother sweep the house and do the dishes she is good for nothing.

“Rachael why are these trashes stilling laying here!! my step mum snapped

“Am sorry I forget I will take it out now,” I said running to her and she drags my hair roughly making me feel intense pain in the back of my head.

“Ouch!!” I growled and she let go of my hair.

“let’s this be the last time I will repeat myself in this house, you don’t even have a family and you are forgetting about little things stupid girl,” she remark and walk to her room. I grab the trash and drag it outside the house

it’s so heavy I muttered as hot tears roll down my cheeks when will my prince charming come to save me from this misery.

I arrive at home and Lily  welcome me

“is mum back yet?” I inquired

“No bro but the chef has already prepared dinner.” she said and I follow her to the dining table

We both started eating and my phone break the silence it’s a video call from Jane I can’t stop thinking of the way that Lisa girl maltreated Rachael today who knows what she does to her at home

“Hello, Jane,” I said waving at her while chewing the food in my mouth.

“Bad timing I will call back when you have finished eating.” she said trying to hang up

“No it’s okay you can say what you want.” I declared.

“Am alone here at my karate class,” she said looking down

“And what do you want me to do?” I ask

“Am not saying you should join me but James and John are at a club and I happen to see Lisa there when I video chatted them, although they didn’t let me know they were at a club,” she said

“And why are you telling me all this?” I ask

“Come on so you can go and interrogate her and ask her why she is maltreating Rachael.” She suggested

“Thanks, Jane but I will do that another day right now I need to see my parents,” I replied

“Sometimes I feel like your parents are more than Rachael.” Jane snapped

“Stop saying crap my little sister is here,” I whined and Lily  put her face on the video call

“Hello? Lily said waving and Jane wave back

“Okay I gotta go it’s already late goodbye sleep tight,” she said and hang up

“who is Rachael,” Lily  ask raising questioning eyebrows                             

“Gosh! why do you have to be here when she called.” I lamented relaxing on the chair

“I just wanted to know who is this girl that catch my bro’s attention.” she stated rolling her eyes

“how old are you?” her at looking at her with my upper lip slightly raised.
