Chapter 19: Loyal to serve. Serving because of loyalty.

"Young miss. Mr. Lu will be arriving soon. If you won't go back, he will be mad again." Song Xuqi told Huang Anyi.

"Song Xuqi." Huang Anyi's eyes sharpened. "Is there something between you and my manager?" she said.

Song Xuqi chuckled. "Young miss. I know how to separate my private affair from my work." He said.

"No... on the contrary, I want something to happen between you two." Huang Anyi stared at Song Xuqi.

Song Xuqi is definitely handsome. He has thick and sharp brows, a pair of deep dark eyes and sexy red lips. He'd best the actors in terms of appearance. Unfortunately, he became a butler. After the incident with Hong Yue, Hong Yue freed him as their butler. However, Song Xuqi deeply is fond of Hong Yue – not the Hong family. Thus, he never left him. In name, he became the Huang family's butler. But, truthfully, he remains as Hong Yue's butler. Thus, he and Huang Anyi are following Hong Yue and Lan Xing now.

"We have to be careful not to be discovered by the young master." He told her.

"Yeah." Huang Anyi said as she bit the straw of her drink. However, her eyes widened when she saw Lan Xing ordered seafoods for Hong Yue. "No. Crap... he ordered him crabs!" she said as she stared at the crabs on the plate in horror.

Song Xuqi's pupils shrank and he immediately moved. However, Huang Anyi immediately pulled him back when she saw Hong Yue suddenly turned to them. "Crap... my voice is too loud!" she whispered as the two of them covered their face with the menu.

Hong Yue really had heard Huang Anyi's voice. However, when he turned, he didn't see her. Must be my imagination. He thought and turned to face the crab meat Lan Xing served on his place. "Lan Xing..." he called.

"What's wrong?" Lan Xing asked as he personally cracked the shell of the crabs and pulled out their meat to give to Hong Yue. He remembered Hong Yue liked seafoods before. Thus, he ordered them again. However, the dishes before came from a hotel-restaurant. And he specifically ordered shrimps. This time, there were shelled foods.

"I..." Hong Yue's muscled are tense and he immediately closed his eyes before he looked away. "I... don't like crabs." He told him.

"... oh." Lan Xing said and he looked at the crabs on the plate. "Sorry. Let's switch." He told him. Before Hong Yue could answer, he already had switched their plates.

"Lan Xing..." Hong Yue called as he stared at Lan Xing in surprise.

"I like crabs." Lan Xing told him. Which is true. He may be allergic to shrimps, but he isn't towards crabs. As a proof, he ate the crab meat.

Hong Yue stared at Lan Xing before he apologetically smiled. "I'm sorry." He said.

Lan Xing didn't speak and just peeled the shrimps for Hong Yue. The employees who recognized Lan Xing stared at him in disbelief. The small boss is personally peeling the shrimp. Not for himself, but for his friend! They thought in shock.

Meanwhile, Hong Yue's mind is in disarray. Lan Xing seemed to actually be a famous person's son? He thought as he glanced at the employees and some other customers in the restaurant. Who could it be? A politician? An actress? He continued as he secretly stared at Lan Xing who was serving him food. Lan Xing is a humble person, though, despite being popular.

His lips formed a smile as he also placed some dishes on Lan Xing's plate – including shrimp. "Have some. The food is actually delicious." He told him.

Lan Xing who is allergic to shrimps. "..." fortunately, he always brings his medicine. "Thank you." He told him.

"The food you cooked before is more delicious, though." Hong Yue honestly said as he chewed his food.

"I'll cook for you again." Lan Xing told him.

"Hey. Let me cook for you tonight, okay?" Hong Yue told him.

"... okay." Lan Xing answered while suppressing his smile.

Huang Anyi and Song Xuqi who felt their eyes have become blind since they can almost see pink bubbles around Hong Yue and Lan Xing. "..." can they get married now? Can they?! They thought and immediately left when Lu Weijin called again.

"Jin Yian!" Lu Weijin yelled when he saw Huang Anyi covered from head to feet.

"Jin Yian?! Did someone say, 'Jin Yian'?! Where?! Where is she?!" the people who heard Lu Weijin yell asked as they frantically looked around.

As if on cue, a woman with a slender body and blonde hair appeared on the mall's monitors and she started singing. It was Jin Yian's latest MV.

"KIYAAAA! It's Jin Yian!!!" the people squealed as they started to watch the music video.

Lu Weijin and Huang Anyi. "..."

Song Xuqi unkindly laughed while he led the two out of the mall. "Please be mindful next time, Mr. Lu." He told Lu Weijin whose face darkened.

"Whose fault do you think this is?!" Lu Weijin snarled at Song Xuqi.

Huang Anyi's shoulder shook as she prevented herself from laughing. 'Jin Yian' is her stage name. She's a singer-actress. "Sorry." He insincerely said.

A vein throbbed on Lu Weijin's forehead. "Yian." He called. "The Rainbow in the Shade of Leaves will be having a drama adaptation." He said. "You are casted as Lu Chi's elder sister." He added.

Huang Anyi and Song Xuqi froze before their eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?!?!?!" they both said and looked at each other. "HOW?!" they asked.

Lu Weijin covered his ears. He looked around and sighed in relief when there were no people around. "The company is still planning. If Scarlet Night would agree, then your role is guaranteed." He explained.

Huang Anyi and Song Xuqi gaped at Lu Weijin. "Have they tried contacting Scarlet Night?" she asked.

"Yes. They did a two days ago. She still hasn't responded." Lu Weijin answered.

Two days ago... they thought. That's when Hong Ye arrived in Shuihua University. He must have been too busy moving his things he didn't notice their email. There're also his classes. It's been a long time since he last attended school.

Huang Anyi immediately took out her phone.

One Happiness: Yueyue, check your email!

Lu Weijin saw she was distracted. "What are you doing?" he asked her.

Song Xuqi smiled. "Contacting Scarlet Night." He answered.

"..." it took a long while before Lu Weijin to react. "WHAT?! You know Scarlet Night?!" he said as he stared at the two in shock.

"Yes." Song Xuqi answered while Huang Anyi are busy messaging Hong Yue.

"Who is she?!" Lu Weijin looked excited. Scarlet Night is a mysterious person. No one knows her age, her occupation, and her real name.

"She's a he." Song Xuqi answered.

"..." Lu Weijin stared at Song Xuqi looking dumbfounded.

"He's my young master." Song Xuqi said.

"..."

"He's also young miss's proclaimed fiancé." Song Xuqi said again.

"Hey!" Huang Anyi reacted.

"And – " Song Xuqi smiled brightly at Lu Weijin who was frozen in shock. " – he's the third shareholder of the Haifeng. He's currently inside and having a lunch date. Would you like to meet him?" he asked him.
