Chapter 13: Memories

We enter the bar and find a spot in the corner on the right side close with the bartender.

We order a bucket of alcohol and proceed to drink till midnight. So many memories come back as we talk. Talking about how we got hurt from playing, how we got yelled at after coming back full of dirt, or how about we build memories. We talk about the places we use to play, hideouts, and more. Later on, the waiter walks towards where our sits are.

We took our first drink, and when the five of us got our drink we get up the drinks and put the drinks together and shout "cheers" and straight the alcohol to the mouth.

" So yeah, I miss you so much guys, it's been so long doesn't it?". Maxine talks after drinking the alcohol while hugging who's on her side. " Maxine, how are you? I don't think you remember me but hope you remember who am I". Jean replied to Max hoping she remember her. " Of course, I remember you, you're the one who's always sticking to Angel when we are kids". Max reply as she chuckles to remember a person like that memory. " Uh, well I like Angge that much until now so I will continue to stick by her side". Hearing that makes Kei feel jealous of having a rival like that, I mean I know and I am aware that Jean has feelings for me.

" Btw Max, we don't know why are you here. What's the business?". Kei asks her and we're also curious why she suddenly shows up after years. " Dad start a company here and I heard that he's talking about your dad's company so visit you to check". When I heard that I got uneasy because when the company got a business proposal from another company, all the employees need to overtime working every night to finish all paperwork.

" Don't talk business here, C'mon let's talk about the past". Jean interrupts the conversation between the two and changes the topic. " Yeah c'mon, let's enjoy our night". "Yeah, we're here to drink and get drunk".

Time flies as we talk about the memories we kept until now. I can see how everyone smiling from the backstory and enjoying every moment talked about. I noticed that Kiel keep glancing at the next counter and keep avoiding contact eye with each other. So I ask Kiel what happening to him.

" Hey Kiel, what happened? Why are you so quiet for a while now? What happened to our drunk bastard? ". I teased Kiel who's been quiet well you know how much Kiel loves alcohol so yeah. " Uh well- ". Before even he finishes his word, someone approaches us and taps Kiel's shoulder, and greets him. " Kiel, nice to meet you, how are you? You didn't contact me since we finish high school. I miss you so much". After we heard those words coming from the girl's voice. We shook and look at the same at Kiel and to the girl beside him. " Yeah, let's talk at another time. I'm with my friends so uh, don't bother me, please". " Okay, just text me whenever you have free time". " Yeah, sure".

We were all shocked to see Kiel being grumpy with the girl. We know Kiel and he is the type to hit on every girl he saw. So when the girl walked out we went to ask Kiel who's the girl. We never met that girl even once. We bombarded him with many questions. Before he spoke he shush us to keep us quiet.

" She went same high school as us, she's from another section back then so I think that's why you guys never met her". We can't wait and ask for another important question. " What's your relationship with her?". We all agree on that question.

" She's uh, it's kinda complicated but uh". Kiel has second thoughts to say to us who is that girl but in the end, he said to us what is his relationship with that girl.

" She was my Girlfriend in high school, she's my ex-girlfriend".
