Remus couldn't help but be filled with excitement as he was shown to a side entrance of the Royal palace by a messenger for General Tacitus.

A well-hidden but heavy metal door opened into a small office with a sleeping man behind the table.

Remus went around the table and tried to wake the guard but he continued to sleep soundly before the messenger poured a glass of water on his face which woke the guard up with a fright.

"Who are you?" the guard asked in a daze. "You shouldn't be here."

Remus unveiled a small gold badge with the strange coat of arms carved into it that was also above the entrance of General Tacitus's office. It was an image of two conjoined birds behind a sword and a shield.

On seeing the badge, the sleepy guard straightened into attention and gave Remus a salute.

"I'm here to see the Armoury," Remus said.

"Very well, sir," the guard said. "Follow me."

He searched for something beneath his desk but couldn't find it. He began to panic and rummage through the entire room.

"Where the hell are me keys?" he muttered before freezing and fixing his gaze on another large door to his right. He walked up to the door and pushed it with his open palm and was amazed when it gave way.

He scratched his head and retrieved his keys from the keyhole of the door.

"I must've opened it before falling asleep," he said trying to convince himself. "Go straight ahead, at the end of this hallway you'll see some stairs. Once you go down five flights of stairs, you'll see two other guards. Show them the badge and they'll unlock the armory.

"You're not coming with me?" Remus asked.

"This is a restricted area," the guard said. "Only the person holding the badge can pass through."

Remus acknowledged that and took his directions. The hallway before the stairs were normal brick but after going down two flights of stairs, Remus noticed that the bottom three floors were carved out of rock and resembled a cave.

At the bottom of the stairs, there were two more guard also asleep and the door they were protecting was also wide open. This time, Remus decided not to wake them up until he noticed some red swelling on the back of the guard's head.

Sensing danger, Remus pulled out 6 robots including his Stone Guardian and Wind Archer alongside 4 other generic robots, arming the 4 robots with crossbows.

Remus upgraded their armour with his newly found stash of Orc Steel which was several times stronger than Human Steel.

Remus then tried to sense the intruder but his skill was blocked.

He then placed the Stone Guardian in front, the Wind Archer covering his back and the 4 other Robots in a diamond formation around him.

</Item Created: Silk Thread! />

Remus also bound the 4 robots with a tiny silver silk thread before proceeding towards the armoury.

On his left and right were statues depicting different poses of the same warrior with minor differences. In statue, he was wielding a sword and shield and in another he was thrusting a spear. The heads of all the statues were missing but from the hands of the unknown warrior, Remus could determine that whoever he might have been, he probably wasn't human because the statues had four large fingers, four arms and four legs.

As Remus approached the door of the armoury, the thread cut from behind him. The robot to his left fired a bolt in the direction that it cut and the bolt hit an invisible object and stopped itself midair.

A trail of blood could be seen as the object slumped to the ground.

A beautiful girl appeared on the ground nursing the injury caused by the bolt lodged in her left shoulder. She was covered head to toe in a long brown cloak.

"I blocked all sensory skills," she said grinding her teeth in pain. "How did you find me?"

Remus pulled back the hood of her cloak to reveal her black locks of hair and stunning brown eyes. It was the same girl that was reading a book near a stream.

"All the guards were asleep and all the doors were wide open," he said. "Plus the last two guards had red welts on the backs of their heads. You were able to sneak up on them from behind."

"What will you do with me?" she asked.

"What is your name?" Remus asked.

"Rhaeya," she said.

"If you tell me what you were doing here, I might let you go," Remus replied.

The girl widened her eyes with surprise by what he said.

"Why would you do that?" she asked.

"I don't care if you stole something from here," he said. "It's not my problem."

"I am no thief!" she refuted instantly. "I only came to retrieve something that was stolen from my people."

She pulled out a small, short, curved, single-edged blade.

"Interesting," Remus said. "An item that I can't recreate. Give it to me in exchange for your life."

"You said you would let me go," she protested.

"I said I *might* let you go," Remus said. "Give me the blade and you can leave or else I will wake up the guards so that you can fight your way out of here."

She eyed him with contempt but ultimately relented and gave up the blade.

Remus kept his word and let her go.

"Invisibility," she said.

The dark-haired girl disappeared as Remus listened to her footsteps slowly move away before he entered the armoury.

"Watch the doors," Remus said to his 6 Automatons as he acquired the enchantment for every blade in the armoury.
