Chapter 147

I leaned Debra against the wall inside the bathroom and jammed my fang into her neck. I could hear her moan and squirms as I drank her blood. After I finish drinking her blood and licked my lips as I looked her in the eyes. 

" Your blood has become even creamier " I said with a smile and then turned and walked to the sink to wash my hand. Debra looked at her neck that was healed over. 

" I didn't want to do this at school but I was just in a little mood for it " I said. 

" It's okay "

Debra seemed to be alright with it, we left the bathroom where there was a commotion outside. Tio and Tia were being harassed by girl because the wrongs refused to let them in. 

" Let's go girl " I said 

We went to the principal's office and he seemed to be absent. 

" Where's the principal? "

" He's gone to a conference meeting " Mia explained. 

" It seems I'm having lunch in class today "I said 

We went back to class and sat on a lone table. 

" hey Roselina, "Regina came and sat in front of me. 

" Are you eating with the rest of us today? "She asked.

I took out my lunch and started to eat it. 

After school I waited in the parking lot of the car to arrive when Ivan approached me.

" Why wait, I can drop you off at home "Ivan said.

Tio and Yia told him to leave and suddenly two BMWs came into the school and parked before us. Four bodyguards came out of each car. 

" Come Miss Valentine, let me escort you home "Ivan said. 

I looked at my phone as the driver was running 30 minutes late. 

" You did something to my driver didn't you "I ask. 

" I don't know what you mean "Ivan said with a smile. 

Looking at his heartbeat I could tell he was lying. This guy seriously intends to get me in his clutches. 

" Tio, Tia, Debra, let's go " I said as I got in the car with Ivan. Debra and the twin got in the car behind us and so it drove off. 

" Where are you going? "Ivan asks.

I looked out the window the entire time the car was driving me home.

Ivan took out a jewelry box with a diamond bracelet inside. He smiled as he showed me the bracelet hoping I would take it. 

" Jewelry does interest me " I said

I didn't answer him, I just kept on scrolling through my phone.

I got out of the car and closed the door and watched the car drive away. 

" Did he try anything? " Tio ask. 

" As if I would let him, I'm not interested in men in the slightest "I said. 

I walked into the building where there was a commotion, the police were dragging out the driver of my car and she kept struggling while crying.

" Take her out ! "Diane shouted. 

" Please I didn't do anything, I had no choice ! "The driver shouted. 

She then turned to me and groveled at my feet. 

" Miss Valentine, I'm sorry, I had no choice, I was threaten "She said, 

" What's going on? " I ask. 

" We found out that this driver was bribed with money and so she didn't not pick you up according to schedule, madam President is furious and plan to charge her from Treason " Diane said. 

" I had no choice, please you have to believe me, I have a son I don't want to go to jail and leave him behind, just give me a chance to explain "The driver shouted. 

I closed my eyes as everyone was waiting on my final word. 

" Let her go " I said. 

" I don't plan to press charges "I added.

The driver was happy. 

" However, you still did commit a grave mistake so you're fired"

She was surprised but was satisfied with this merciful punishment, after all she's a single mother who was threatened.

" I understand, I accept my punishment, thank you for not pressing charges "

"Okay " I said and walked away. 

Kelly is still upset,maybe I should do something about it? 

As we rode the elevator up to the office. 

" I must say, you're very kind hearted " Diane said. 

" It was nothing, it's just I have a soft spot for helping people, it's my Achilles heal and my immortal weakness "

" You really think so ?" I ask. 

" I know so.... Say did something happen between you and madam President? " Diane asks. 

" Well I may have said something I should have, why? "

" Since this morning, she's been in a quiet mood and gets angry over the smallest things "

" Is it that bad? " I ask. 

The elevator door opened and I heard Kelly shouting at someone and ordering them to leave.

" I'm sorry ma'am "

One of Kelly's workers ran out of the office crying and took the elevator down in a hurry. 

" It's that bad huh ? "I ask. 

I sigh and turn to Diane. 

" I'll handle Kelly, Diane you take care of Debra and the others "

After they left, I knocked on Kelly's door. 

" Did I say no one can enter ?! " She shouted. 

" My, is that the way you talk to your mistress " I ask.

Kelly's mood instantly changed instantly and she got up to greet me. She kneeled at my feet and sweated with guilt. 

" I'm sorry, I should have acted that way " Kelly said. 

I looked at her and then held up her face. 

" You're still angry with me aren't you? "I ask.

" You don't have to lie, I also can tell when someone is lying remember "

Kelly looked down. 

" I know, what I said would foolish and inconsiderate, it's just I feel so uncomfortable "I said as I took a seat. 

" I got a little insecure, there's laws and rules in this world, We share the same name wouldn't that make us sorta like relatives " I said. 

" I understand why you're insecure, your worried that it will affect me " Kelly said. 

" Well, yes you're a beautiful woman who men and women fawn over, I just thought that I couldn't have an intimate relationship because you and I have "

Kelly held my hand and kissed it.

Suddenly it felt like a hole open in my chest. Hearing it from her, I kinda know how it felt, how she felt. I can't let this feeling stay forever

I pushed Kelly on the floor and looked at her with my Vampire eyes and the curtain shut and darkened the room. I hugged her and stuck my canine into her neck and drank her blood. She mourned as she hugged me tightly. 

I removed my fangs and look at her with my glowing eyes 

" I don't want this feeling to end "I said.

Kelly smiled and held my cheeks. 

" We don't have to end it, my beloved mistress "

Her eyes started to glow as well. 

We kissed each other like there is no tomorrow, that's right, even though she's my kin, we're not relatives, I only turned her into a vampire, she's only related to me in name not blood, sorta like a marriage contract. I guess her mood has returned to normal, I say that's a good thing. Afterwards Diane knocked on the door and came in with Debra and the twins. Kelly sat at her desk doing work while I was eating cake. 

" Is everything alright now ?"Diane asks. 

" Yes, everything has been cleared up " Kelly said. 

" Good, that's a relief "

Diane was happy to see her master being well again, I'm glad that everything was back to the way it was,

I open my eyes and I sense that one of my wolves died and instantly the others returned. 

Who could have killed it?
