Chapter 6: Old mansion

Hitoshi and Kenji arrived at the large mansion with a short rusted gate.

Hitoshi steps forward and slightly pushes the gate.

"It's open" he remarks

The duo walks into the compound and see the scattered piece. When Hitoshi and and Kenji reach the door it was broken and bent over.

Hitoshi sliped himself into the space underneath the bent over door and kenji did the same.

The mansions is cracked everywhere and various piles of dirt and filt filled the place.

The wooden ground made creeking sound as if threatened to break under their weight.

When Hitoshi and Kenji entered the room they assaulted by thick darkness that moved visibility and that was when they feel the presence of the apparition.

"It's here…you can feel it too can't you" Hitoshi says turning to Kenji.

"Yeah I feel it too" Kenji replies whilst still staring forward.

Hitoshi down and find a small torch on the ground, he picks it up and gives it to Kenji.

"Let's split up…this way we would be able to cover more ground.

"Right…" Kenji what is the thouch that is being thrown at him.

Kenji went upstairs towards the right while Hitoshi surveyed the base.

Kenji moved from room to room searching the place but he couldn't find anything plus the fog made it hard for him to see a thing.

He kept on searching and opened a door into a room, he entered the room and pointed his torch as he scanned the place. He looked down and found a model magazine with a model on it, she was very beautiful and the clothes made her even more attractive.

He flipped from the front page into the main pages of the magazine and discovered the model's name was Akio Yoshishawa, and it's in her popularity was well received throughout Nippon.

Kenji discovered that there was a note underneath the place where he picked up the magazine, he dropped the magazine and picked up the note he was about to open it and read the content when he felt the movement of a strange presence in the room.He dropped the paper, removed his sword from its shelt and pointed his touch towards the direction he thought he felt the presence.

He walked ever so slightly and approached the wardrobe,he was anxious as he slowly touched the knob of the wardrobe and pulled it.

As soon as Kenji opened the wardrobe what assaulted him was a string of cobweb and cockroaches for scrambling to escape the light, other than that it was empty.

This made Kenji sigh tiredly. Suddenly Kenji felt the presence of a shadow moving out of the room.

Kenji immediately followed after the moving shadows as he ran through the hallway until got to the center where he also found hitoshi also running from the opposite direction.

The two of them simultaneously stopped and looked at each other then at the place that was now darkness surrounding under the broken chandelier.

The duo turned thieir back against each other ready to attack as they pulled out their weapon.

"Be on guard, it's close" Kenji said, his eyes extremely focused.

"Yeah"

They waited a moment as they continue to scan their environment whilst their back was turned against each other as they slowly took steps back.

Hitoshi and Kenji moved towards each other with their back turned while still facing forward, and since the fog was so heavy it was even harder for them to see in the dark with all the light gone.

As both of them walked back he felt the body of each other, or so they thought before they got surge of fear accompanied by goosebumps.

Kenji's and Hitoshi eyes widened as soon as they realize, they heard a shallow morn and immediately the two of them jump back in shock and anticipation as they saw an enormous Apparitions that would still tower above both of two of them even if their heights were combined.

The Apparitions had the body of a winged lion with the face of a clown.
