The King's Declaration
"I can see that fear in your eyes, Addie. Do not worry. Sir Dominic is not in trouble. I am actually proud of him for having thought of letting you see your family. You are not his prisoner. You have been treated like a member of his family. So, in my opinion, you need to see the people that you love and that raised you. I am not at all upset. I told you, I am generous and I treat people fairly. That goes for you as well, Addie. Now, don't be afraid to answer my questions."
Again, he was telling me that everything was okay and that he wasn't here to hurt me, but I still didn't trust him. Still, I knew that if I refused to talk to him and answer his questions, I would be in trouble. I just wanted to live beyond this day and talking seemed to be helping me.
