Walker furrowed his brows when he saw Gray came out with his own son entirely covered in blood. There was a putrid smell that was quite familiar to him, as a veteran who went to war before. However, he was still quite surprised by just the amount of dried blood that was on Hunter's body right now. Walker, noticing Gray's gaze, did not ask about what happened and simply led them back towards the helicopter.
"Does he need to go to the hospital?" Walker asked as they walked back the way they came. Gray simply shook his head and said, "No. We need to bring him somewhere else."
Before Walker could ask, Gray managed to reach one of his hands to his pocket and grabbed out his phone. Although the full weight of Hunter was now on his own neck and arm, Gray did not complain at all. He immediately dialed a number.
