Chapter 9 ( 3 years back)

Luca's POV

As of now, I am searching for Colton. Today I'll get my answers.

And there, I spotted him taking out the records and walking towards the staff room.

So I waited until he was back.

I swiftly ran towards him after he came out.

"Colton, I need a minute with you."

I said holding his shoulder when he was about to walk away ignoring me.

"It's really important."

Still, he was stubborn.

"It's about Rhythm"

As soon as those words came out, he froze. He looked at me surprised. He indicated I follow him.

We went outside towards the garden area.

"How do you know Rhythm??" He questioned me.

"That's something I should ask you.  She's my best friend now tell me. How do you know Rhythm? " I said.

He wasn't answering for a while. Which quite annoyed me.

"If you keep being silent, I might assume things, Colton," I said

He took a deep breath before confessing.

"She was my... Girlfriend but, before I got the chance to love her The world took her away from me.

He spoke up looking down with guilt.

"Do you know how she died?? Or are you perhaps connected to her death?? "As soon as those words came out of my mouth, he looked up shocked which made me confirm that he is related.

"So tell me. How did she die? "

I asked not being patient anymore.

"It was 3 years back...

He started.
