Side story: Princess struggle

This is a side story about the first princess, who was a very talented individual both physically and mentally. At the age of 12, the king entrusted her with the management of a city that was in a dire state. Despite this, the princess was able to turn things around and in less than six months, she transformed the city into the most prosperous and strongest one in the kingdom. The princess was not only skilled in matters of governance but was also considered a genius in political affairs.

However, despite her abilities and accomplishments, the princess faced opposition from members of the court who were threatened by her talent. They made things difficult for both the king and the princess by spreading rumors that the king favored her over others. Furthermore, they also used gender discrimination to undermine the princess's authority, saying that females were not meant to work in the court and should only serve males in the bedroom. This discrimination was especially hard to bear, as there were no laws to protect against it during this period. The church was the established authority at the time, and everyone, including the king, had to abide by their laws.

At the age of 16, the princess became aware of certain matters and realized that she could not be involved in them. Consequently, she took a conditional retirement from royal politics. Over the next few years, she married the king of the far north kingdom, but on the night of their wedding, he was assassinated. His previous wife had gone insane, and he had no family members to pass the throne onto. As per the kingdom's rules, the princess became the queen of the far north kingdom and the first empress to rule a kingdom. Despite being relatively young and inexperienced, the new queen proved to be highly capable and managed the kingdom better than anyone else. Her people adored her and considered her to be a goddess.

Although most of the kingdom's inhabitants were content with the queen's rule, some powerful individuals such as the church were unhappy with her being queen. They attempted to discredit her, but their plans failed as people could not easily be fooled. Despite these attempts to undermine her, the queen continued to rule effectively, earning respect and admiration from her subjects.

In the far north kingdom, at the main church, the head priest was interrupted by an informant who informed him that their plane had been compromised again. After asking the informant to leave, the head priest sat down at his table and started writing a letter, requesting that it be sent to the Dharma kingdom.

When the messenger arrived at the Dharma kingdom's king's palace, he handed the letter to a knight, who then delivered it to the king. Upon reading the letter, the king let out a sigh and quickly penned a response to the princess, directing the messenger to deliver it.

After some time, at the far north kingdom's palace, the queen was in a state of anger after reading the letter she had received. It was easy to see the frustration on her face, but eventually, she calmed down and instructed her attendants to call the court.

When the court convened, the queen made an announcement that shocked everyone present. "I, the queen of the far north kingdom, am withdrawing from the throne. As for my replacement, the church will choose a worthy candidate who is more capable of the throne."

This announcement upset the people, who gathered in front of the palace to prevent the queen from leaving. Despite their protests, she eventually convinced them to let her go, and she left the kingdom with a sad expression on her face.
