Lu Tianlong really felt as if he had heard a joke, which was not funny in the least. "We still need to consult you? Do you know who the man standing in front of you is? He is a General!"
"As it's a matter of cooperation of your team with mine, titles have no meaning. If you want me to respect you, you also have to respect me!" emphasized Jiang Liushi.
From Jiang Liushi's perspective, nobody could order him around. Not even General Zhang had ordered him to obey his command. He could only accept the form of cooperation to join this mission. If he were to cave in and allow Han Yuan to take command, it would be the same as handing himself and his teammates to Han Yuan on the plate. Jiang Liushi would never make a compromise that would threaten his team's interests.
