Baggage Boy and Body Guard

Stacy was thrown an elaborate 16th birthday party, since everyone new that she was wanting to be a dungeoneer. Stacy was gifted many weapons and different kinds of armor, amulets and rings that protected against magic and curses, some even enhanced defense and attack and all kind of crazy other thangs.

There was so much that Tate was learning from standing in the corner of the room watching. Tate had no clue that there were so many magical items in the world, and he was thinking that this was just scratching the surface.

The party went on pretty late, and Tate was left cleaning the mess up with Mary. The following morning Tate was summoned to the family room, upon entering the room Tate noticed James, Stacy, Mark and Patrick were already sitting in the family room. Mark was the oldest he was 20 years old; Patrick is the youngest at 18 years old.

Tate do you know why i ordered you here this morning.

"No Master."

Since Stacy, Mark, and Patrick are all going to the dungeon together from now on you are to follow them and carry their baggage.

"Yes Master."

One last thang I can't deny you power with earth magic, you are the perfect shield, if anything bad is to happen like an ambush or an attack slip by its your job to stop it. If a life-or-death event, is about to happen I command you to sacrifice yourself for them. I already gave up on trying to crack how your system works, so the least you can do is sacrifice yourself for my kids, do I make myself clear.

"Yes Master."

That was the start of Tates days as the baggage boy. The dungeon they always went to was named the Skeleton dungeon, as you can guess the dungeon was full of different kinds of Skeletons. It was a level 5 through 30 dungeon and was rumored that once the last boss was defeated the dungeon would award certain people that matched certain requirements, special skill abilities. That was the main aim of everyone that entered the dungeon but there was also stuff that could be gathered and sold.

Different skeletons dropped different thangs depending on the skeleton. The easiest skeleton was obviously the basic skeleton it had no weapons. The next was the skeleton archer then the skeleton soldier after that you had the berserker (dual-wield axes), mage, paladin and finally the archimage.

Like the typical normal dungeons, it was just monsters, and it was a maze and every floor down you went it got harder with many times more enemies.

This dungeon was the new location Tate spent all his time carrying the others junk and blocking the stray arrow or spell. Tate didn't know if the others new that he was getting a part of the XP because they didn't have a system, but Tate was glad to get a share of it, Tate was slowly leveling up he was glad for it, it's the least they could do for all the stuff they have done to him over the last 4 years.

This same daily routine continued for several months everyone was getting stronger, it allowed them to continually push deeper into the dungeon.

Mark, it is getting really dangerous we may need to go back this level is too much for use to handle Stacy said.

We are on level 25; we only have 5 more levels I really wanted to get to level 30 but the difficulty goes up so much each level its crazy.

I have a solution Patrick said.

Well spill it, it's to F*CKING chaotic to stand here waiting for an answer.

Patrick points at Tate and said time to really put him to use.

Mark nodded his head, Tate you heard him.

"Yes, young Master but there is one problem I can't properly fight with all this gear."

Drop it for now we will split it up later.

"Yes, young Master but it may be best if someone else get the bags now, I'm going to push forward fast all I have is mana once it's out we will be in a bad place if we are not in a safe area or at least a defensible location."

That makes since, ok Stacy and Patrick grab some of the gear and get ready to move fast.

Ok Brother they both said at the same time.

"These Skeletons are going to be nothing compared to the Earth Golems."

Tate had the perfect idea, over the last 2 years sparring with the kids and the last few months in the dungeon, Tates Earth Manipulation level is up to 644.

Tate gathers the earth then compacts it so stupidly hard it's like bronze, Tate then starts to shape the earth into big round saw blades and has them spin super-fast horizontally, then Tate starts running forward.

The giant saw blades are making the air hum, bones and armor are flying everywhere as Tate shreds through the skeleton army like paper.

They quickly finished up the 25th floor and continued onward, through the 26 floor, Tates mana managed to hold out till he got to the end of the 26 floor and found a safe place to recharge his mana.

"Ok young Master that's all I got; it will take a while before my mana recharges."

We will wait then and continue to repeat this process till we reach the last floor.

At this point and time, the amount of mana Tate has takes way too long to charge up, Tate is just hoping that they will be patient enough to wait a while.
