Chapter thirteen: new foe

"whoa", Rick you've become stronger than the way you were when we left the base, Tom let out as we began to walk towards our class.

Since the information about our group killing a level twenty monster leaked out, most students have been treating us like gods.

As for the boys in our year, they had great hatred towards Tom and me because we took almost all the girl's attention.

Rick, May shouted in excitement as she ran towards me before hugging me tightly.

What, some of the boys yelled in anger as they shot hateful gazes at me.

Although many of them had great hatred towards me, they could not do anything to harm me because of my strength and Miss Tasha.

How have you been? She asked as she slightly loosened her grip.

My one-week break was okay but I missed you guys a lot.

Anyway, I got a letter from the principal, Tom announced.

What does it say? I asked.

We got our private vehicle from the school and our group has broken a school record so, the principal will like to award us during lunch hour.

"wow", we are going to become very popular and now that third-year students would not be able to look down on us.

Hmm, Tom mumbled as he twitch his eyebrows while looking at May before continuing so, that's the reason for your unusual behavior this morning.

Did something happen to her, Rick inquired.

Not really, all she did was dance and sing which was an unusual behavior because she does not even love music.

Hey, how dare you reveal my secret, May yelled at Tom before punching his back.

"ouch", Tom cried out in pain.

"Eh", class is starting soon so we better leave now, I said as I separated the both of them.

Thanks, Tom muttered before continuing, she could have killed me if you had not intervened in time.

Good morning class, Miss Tasha greeted as she walked into the class.

Good morning, we all replied to her.

Well, we have a new student, Miss Tasha announced before signaling the girl outside to come in.

Her name is Paula, Miss Tasha said before asking the girl to introduce herself properly.

My name is Paula and I am pleased to meet you all, she said with a voice so soft that it could be compared to that of angles.

Anyway, that would be your seat till the end of the year, Miss Tasha told Paula while pointing at an empty seat towards the end of the class.

Abruptly, the girl winked at me on arriving at my seat before moving towards her seat.

Seems like you are already a superstar, Tom said as he turned his gaze towards her.

Do you know her? May asked me interrupting our (Tom and I) conversation.

Now that we are done with the introduction, let us begin the classes, Miss Tasha announced before continuing today, we are going to be sharing our experience about what happened to us during the training session and why don't we start with Rick, Miss Tasha said before gesturing me to come outside.

"Good luck", Tom said as he stroked my back before I went to the front of the class.

As soon as I got to the front, most of the boys began to stare at me as if they were craving my blood. Another boy even threw a metal spoon at me, at this point, I got angry and shot a time fist towards the boy who threw the spoon.

"bam", a loud crashing sound echoed through the class.

How did he do that? The others screamed like they had been possessed by a demon.

Even Tom and May we're left speechless.

Now listen, I roared before continuing. Anyone who says bad things about me or tries to damage my reputation will end up like him, I said as I pointed at the boy who was still trying to get up after receiving my attack.

Are you threatening us? Another boy yelled as he stood up from his seat.

Enough, Miss Tasha shouted.

Hmm, the boy mumbled as he went back to his seat.

Everyone back to your seats, Miss Tasha said as she ordered everyone to rearrange the class.

Rick, you know you are going to be in big trouble right? Tom asked as I walked towards my seat.

"I know", I replied before continuing "and you don't have to worry, I will be fine".

Rick, see me in my office after this class.
