The Fact

The next day.

The morning has come, the sun has started to rise, Alice woke up from her sleep, went to the kitchen for breakfast and after that she immediately got ready to go to the office as usual.

Arriving at the office, Alice behaved as usual, she chose to act as if nothing had happened, as well as Ryoma who did not know the fact that it was Alice who drove him home last night.

Before lunch time, Alice accidentally fell asleep on her desk, this couldn't escape Ryoma's vision, luckily Ryoma just ordered another worker beside Alice to wake her up.

During lunch, Alice approaches her friend, who happens to work at the same company as Alice.

Alice begs her friend to accompany her to meet Ryoma's friend, at first she refuses Alice's invitation, but Alice keeps begging her, making her give in and agree to Alice's request.

They went to Ryoma's friend who is also one of the editors at this company, it turned out that the man was eating with Ryoma in the company cafeteria.

Alice who saw him with Ryoma, had thought to cancel his intention, but his friend suddenly approached the man and left Alice alone.

"Do you have a time?" Alice's friend whispered to the man.

"What is Alice?", replied the man.

Alice's friend nodded his head, but the man immediately said "Go, explain to him, you also know what he wants to ask, right?", exclaimed the man while chewing his food.

"Okay", she immediately left.

He approached Alice again, and immediately motioned for her to sit at an empty table, without further ado he said, "Do you want to know about Ryoma?". the woman asked Alice.

"Yes" Alice replied, then the woman again asked, "Why?", Alice also explained to the woman, "I don't know why, but this bothers me a lot".

Hearing Alice's answer, the woman began to speak again.

"Do you know Lycanthropy?".

"Clinical Lycanthropy Syndrome is a rare psychiatric disorder that causes sufferers to believe that they can or have transformed into non-human animals, more specifically werewolves."

"Clinical Lycanthropy Syndrome was first discovered in 1852, in a mental hospital in Nancy, France. This patient complained of sharp teeth and hairy bodies. As evidence, this patient asked for raw rotting meat and devoured it in front of the doctor."

"However, in Ryoma's case, this syndrome is unique, it will only come when Ryoma loses consciousness or is under excessive stress, and he is not aggressive except towards those who try to attack him."

Hearing that question Alice began to understand Ryoma's condition, it became clearer when she saw Ryoma.

"How did you know that?" Alice asked.

The woman then explains to Alice, that in the past she was in the same high school as Ryoma and her friend.

Ryoma's case was first discovered when his head was hit by a ball, and made him unconscious, and made the syndrome appear, because the whole school knows this fact, making Ryoma often stressed, and this syndrome often comes again, either when Ryoma is alone or even at school.

The school also takes action to continue to support Ryoma's life, and threatens that the school will not hesitate to expel other students if they bully or stress Ryoma.

After being traced, it turns out that this syndrome has attacked him since he was a child, more precisely after he lost both his parents in an accident, plus his aunt and uncle who did not accept his presence in their house.

From this, it is known that Ryoma has been suffering from Clinical Lycanthropy Syndrome without anyone even knowing about it himself.

He admitted that when he was in junior high school when he was stressed, he sometimes felt his body had claws and fangs, without realizing it was a mental disorder, he just made it seem as if nothing had happened.

Hearing that Alice was very surprised, she seemed to shed tears, in her sadness she was very grateful for the actions taken by the school.

Alice who initially hated Ryoma very much, now began to sympathize with him.

Unknowingly lunch time had ended now the other employees started to return to their workplaces, so did Alice and her friends, they started back to work.

Two hours had passed since lunch time, Alice was seen tidying up her print script, after she had neatly brought it to Ryoma's room.

"Etto, excuse me sir, I'm here to hand over my work you gave me the other day," Alice rebuked as she handed the script to Ryoma.

Ryoma told Alice to sit down, he immediately checked the contents of the script. Ryoma looked surprised to see Alice's edit, he judged Alice to be very talented for this.

"Why only now Alice?".

"What's the matter, sir?". Alice answered.

"Why only now did you choose a work that was worthy of you, and it looks like your editing is not bad, is it really you who did it?".

Alice immediately explained to Ryoma about the truth, she said that all this time the script she gave to Ryoma was her own creation, not someone else's.

Alice admits that she is very talented at judging and making things more interesting, but she is not talented enough at creating something new.

Alice admits that since childhood she wanted to be a writer, but she knew that she was not talented, so she decided to become an editor, hoping that one day her initial script would be approved by the company she worked for.

Alice immediately apologized to Ryoma sincerely, and he promised not to repeat it, Ryoma who heard that Alice's sincerity also forgave him.
