The Start of Something New

Have you ever been through a heartbreak so harsh that you swore off love forever? You wished hard that you never met that guy again. You wished you had never met him, you wished you'd never fall in love ever again.

You swore to stay off the path of love and that love wasn't a part of your plans anymore. Yet somehow that little jinx finds a way to you.

A girl with bright blue eyes was crying sitting under a tree on a park bench. Her eyes were red and swollen like a pufferfish. She kept rigorously wiping her tears that wouldn't stop shedding from her eyes. A trail of tears had formed on her cheeks.

It was evening time and the passerby couldn't notice her properly but some noted that she was crying. A kind gentleman who was trying to sell his muffins went to the girl and asked her if she wanted to eat one. He offered her a muffin for free, feeling bad for the young girl.

"T-thank you", she sniffled. Locks of her blonde hair fell in front of her eyes, making her look shabby. She was truly a mess currently, yet her beautiful skin and beautiful soft and smooth blonde hair still depicted her beauty despite her messy looking appearance.

"Here, have another one if you'd like," the gentleman with brown hair offered her another muffin.

"Ahh, no, I'll just take one. How much for this?" she asked, looking at the muffin as a teardrop still managed to escape from her eyes. The stray tear rolled down her cheek.

"Uh, it's for free. It's a gift from me to you. I can't bear to watch a beautiful girl like you cry so badly like this," he smiled politely at her.

It was usually uncommon to see such politeness from strangers, after all, all our mothers have always at least once iterated that don't take things from strangers.

Right after she dug into the muffin and took her first few bites, she could feel herself going drowsy, losing her senses and her body about to collapse but someone held it before she dropped.

Like our mothers always remind us, not all free things are good and not all that glitters is gold.

The gentleman that pitied the crying girl was actually a wolf in the sheep's clothes. As soon as he held the body of the now unconscious girl, a few other guys came to accompany him. Since it was still evening they decided to portray that she was drunk and thus unconscious so that no one could catch them in their suspicious activity.

But unknown to these men, a group of high officials had already witnessed what dirty job they did there to the girl.

There was a man in a Bugatti car, a very expensive car wearing an expensive suit sitting with his secretary when the driver halted near the park because of some issues with the car. the men stood outside the park waiting for the driver who was also a mechanic to fix the minor issues.

That was when they witnessed the evil man giving a free muffin to the beautiful girl. [ She's so stupid. Didn't her mother ever tell her to not take things from strangers? ] the man in the navy blue sleek suit thought to himself.

As soon as he remarked inside his head he witnessed a few men gathering around the now unconscious girl. He immediately ordered his secretary to stop the men and also his bodyguards to accompany him.

Soon the men in black suits and one in a white suit surrounded the suspicious and evil men and punched them right in the face making the suspicious group of men bleed from their noses and collapse into unconsciousness.

Soon the police were summoned and they arrested the evil men, freeing the young girl from the grasp of the evil strangers who used the facade of muffin sellers. The men helped the young girl sit on the same bench again (where she was previously sitting) but she didn't seem to gain consciousness even with the splashing of water on her face.

The young man in a navy blue sleek suit told something to the man in the white suit and soon the girl was carried inside the car and seated and the cars drove to the nearest hospital.

The police also recommended taking her to the hospital since whatever drug she was on was strong and she didn't seem to wake up easily from it. Upon interrogating the muffin sellers, they admitted it was a strong drug and as for their intention - they intended to first use her for the exhaustion of their own physical desires and then sell her in the marketplace for money.

The men were slapped and beaten up on the spot by the police officers after the culprits revealed their true intentions.

The doctor was summoned quickly as the girl's condition was an emergency case. Also, the influence of the seemingly rich man in the navy blue suit helped them get professional medical help as soon as possible for the girl.

Tests were run and soon the results informed the doctors of what the properties of the drug were. She was made unconscious so strongly that she couldn't move her body at all to stop those evildoers from using her for their disgusting motives.

After a day, the girl was able to gain consciousness. The man in the white suit from the day earlier was wearing a brown suit today. His name was Matthew. He was the secretary of the president of the Samuels Group.

The now awakened girl with beautiful blonde hair was Cara Flair. She was informed about her situation by the nurse who attended to her and also the secretary informed her of the situation of how she was rescued by them.

Little did Cara know that she was saved by an influential man and the hospital she was currently admitted to was so expensive that one night's fee is worth her salary of 3 months!
