I never wanted a marriage like this. My dream marriage is with a husband I love and he loves me too. But, now I have to marry on the basis of money. It's a huge amount of money that I can't earn even if I have to work hard for the rest of my life. What hurts even more, my future husband is still in love with his first love. Should I endure this broken heart and loveless marriage?
"Sorry, Mr. Andrew didn't pick up the phone. Maybe he's not in the place. You can call Mr. Andrew's cellphone if you have the number." The receptionist said. Calista smiled broadly at the receptionist and said, "Okay, I'll just call Mr. Darren directly." The receptionist widened her eyes in disbelief.
Calista stepped aside a few meters from the reception area. The vast and tall window became the place she chose to make a call to her green-eyed husband.
"Yes ..." The deep and slightly hoarse voice that became Darren's trademark answered the phone while he was still chairing the meeting. Everyone present in the meeting room fell silent for a moment.
"Who's the one calling? It's very rare for their boss to receive a call during a meeting unless it's very urgent." Thought the directors of each division were present.
