Saved by a second

After a few days off full-day, tiring shots, I had to come to the main city for a pre-scheduled photoshoot. Which was an hour's drive from the shoot.

Because of the tiring schedule the last few days our sleep had been less and I, on the other hand, had to take care of some official duties to full fill. Talking with Little Moon had been less due to the busy timeline.

"Lee, I want you and the driver to accompany me to the photoshoot tomorrow."

"Ok I will ask the driver. But I think he had been sleepless these days."

"Why?" I asked him.

"He had been the extra hand and helping everyone during the shoot."

"ok.. let him get some sleep tonight. And can you bring me the new edited videos to check them."

Lee bought me the last three days edited clips. Checking them and discussing them with the editorial team did take me almost all night. Because this drama runs through with emotions the editing that is done needs to be perfect. Even the shooting of the drama had some difficulties as the emotions are not shown properly.

Acting in this drama is really on another level. Everyone needs to understand the important emotional value in every shot and act according to it. Specially my part, the main lead, I was portraying the connection between two characters while understanding both of them. Help them during difficult them and later join them in their happiness. This drama has emotional conflicts, even though there aren't any physical conflicts or violence.

The next day after the morning shooting was done we got ready to go to the city for the promotional photoshoot. As soon as I got in the vehicle I fell asleep. I was feeling exhausted and tired. Lee woke me,

"Hi, George we are here."

"Oh...ok... I'll come."

"You seem a lot tired, Geo."

"Responsibilities.." I laughed at him.

After I freshened up, we got ready for the photoshoot. This was an outdoor shoot with a few more celebrities. During the break, we all had a little chit-chat.

"Congratulations on your engagement."

"Thank you."

"But we never knew you dated someone. There were no rumors even."

I smiled, "We had known each other for about two years. But it was her brother's wish to keep her out the media, and I respected his wishes."

"So spill the beans, is she a famous person, that you need to hide her, even after the engagement?"

"Hmm... well her work is famous rather than her name. And she is just a normal simple person."

"Wow, must be a fashion designer then."

"You will find out in a few months," I said to them as I resumed the tasks of the photoshoot.

It was around nine in the night when the photoshoot was over and we headed back home. Maybe my body can't handle the work as I did usually. I was getting tired and sleepy just as soon as my work is over.

Suddenly I woke up with a sharp pain in my left arm. It took me a while to realize our vehicle was hit by a pass-by car and we slipped aside. Lee and the driver both seemed conscious and Lee called the ambulance. Later we learned the vehicle that collided with us was a hit-and-run car.

Lee escaped the accident with almost no injuries but a few small scratches on his forehead. While the driver had a minor fracture on his right arm. I, on the other hand, had my right hand wounded and put on a few stitches and a few bruises on my leg.

I asked Lee to contact Mr.D and let him know what happened and to tell him my condition is not serious. Another thing I wanted to do was not make this accident a major news headline. Mr.D promised to take care of it. The director and a few others came to visit us in the hospital.

"Director, I am ok. I will be ok in a few days. But can you please take care of the driver, Ling. I heard his mother is sick and he was hoping to take her to the hospital today. I will ask Mr.D's team to look after his family."

"George, you have a call" and he winked to let me know it's Little Moon.

"Ok thanks."

"Director we'll give some space to George."

"Are you ok?" Asked Little Moon.

"Did Mr.D tell you?"

"Yes, how are the others who were with you?"

"I am ok. I just got some bruises and some stitches on my right hand."

"Is it painful?"

"No not much. I can bear it and will heal in a few days."

"Who's taking care of you?"

"Lee and the others are here. My mother will come in a few hours."

"That's good. Do you want me to come?"

"No no you stay safe there. if you come here the media will have a field day." I laughed at her and explained.

"How is Lee and the driver?"

"Lee only had a few scratches, but the driver had a minor fracture on his arm."

"Hmm..."

"Little Moon, you don't need to worry ok. Your Brother D has taken care of everything and made arrangements to take care of Ling for the next three months."

My mother came at the same time.

"Hi mom, Little Moon is here," I gave the phone to my mother.

"Hello, Dear,"

"Hi mom, You have to be careful too you know," said Little Moon.

"Yes yes, my dear. I will look after George. And you don't worry about him."

"Ok mom. Then I will keep."

"Little Moon, you should go to bed and don't work all night," I told her.

"Ok I will. You will need to take care as well. Call me anytime."

I told my mother about Ling. She went to see him and spend some time with him. She felt so upset after hearing about his situation. I told my mother that Mr.D has taken care of everything and he had already looked into a new apartment for him.
