A song to sing

With many things to do I had a feeling of missing something. I couldn't think of what it was.

On the other hand, there had been a lot of work due to the drama promotion campaign. We had to do a lot of photoshoots and mini videos. Apart from this Little Moon suggested we show small snippets from the locations and the crew getting ready to film on youtube.

I had assigned one of Adam's team members to help with these mini clips and sent toe the HQ for approval and uploading. These clips also gained more popularity among fans as they wanted to know about the things behind the scene.

Up to now out of all the mini videos, the most viewed clip was of me. I was looking at the horizon while talking to Little Moon. I think I have to give the credit to the person who filmed this. He really has the potential to be a good cameraman.

I went home after finalizing the day's work at the location. Even though I was tired I still felt something is missing. Then only I realized I was missing a key gift for her. I wanted to make this myself as a personal gift to her. As I was not good in creating music I asked my friend to help me with a soundtrack. After audio is created I can create the lyrics for the song.

"Hello" I heard from my old friend, Su, who is a well-known pianist now.

"Su, it's me, George."

"OH my, hi buddy. Long time no see"

"Yeah, dude. So how have you been lately?" I asked Su.

"I have been well and you might have known about me from entertainment news right."

"Yes, you cannot hide anything."

We chatted for a while and arranged to meet the next day for lunch.

"Hi" I greeted Su the next day at the restaurant.

"You haven't changed much."

"Same to you" and we both order the food.

"I heard you got engaged," said Su.

"Yes. And we'll get married soon after the drama shooting is over."

"I know I am prying into your privacy, but why do you keep her a secret?"

"That is because she's still getting used to the media and crowds. An introvert by nature." I answered and showed him some photos of her.

"She looks pretty interesting."

"In mid-September. But it's not going to be a big wedding. But an intimate small reception. And I need your help to give her a surprise."

I nodded yes.

"Do you want to know who wrote it and did the first soundtrack?" I know he's dying to know.

"I would be happy to meet them one day." I can see a glow in his eyes.

"It was written by the new production house President and the first music is done by my future wife."

"Really?"

"They are like siblings and best friends," I explain to him. "And she is a very uncommon talent, if I think now, there is nothing she can do."

"So how can I help you with the wedding gift?" asked Su having some dessert.

"I am hoping to have a photography exhibition and on the day we start, I am going to have our reception with a handful of close family and friends."

"Ok..."

"I want to introduce her on that day as my wife. I would be happy if you can create a piano piece just for her. Later I will write the lyrics according to it. And I would like you to be there and present the song for her as my gift. while playing the piano."

"Hmm.. so you want to have the reception over by the time the exhibition officially starts and at the same time to have this played with you two entering the gallery."

"100 percent correct."

"Ok, then this will be my wedding gift to you too."

"Thanks, Su."

"Why do you thank me, I am doing one of my best friends a favor."

I told Su more about LIttle Moon and how I met her and more details about her personality. Su said he will try to make a piano piece that suits her personality, a calm, friendly, cheerful girl who is blissful in her own way. While talking with Su I showed some of her work and Su explained,

"Hold on Geo, so she is the character designer for the game?"

"Yes.. why what's wrong?"

"I was one of the voice actors in the game CG shots."

"OH my... I thought you were going to say, you like her" I said jokingly.

"How dare I do such a thing."

"So what about you? Married with kids or still single?"

"Hmm.. You remember I liked Baozha back then"

"Yes"

"She got married to another the same day we were supposed to register our marriage."

"Oh my. So after that, you didn't think of finding someone else?" He looked at me.

"No, I didn't."

"You know Su, I think when you come to my wedding reception, You will have luck."

We parted our ways in the hope to meet in one week's time.

There's a lot more to do and to get ready for tomorrow. A lot of work to be done. For the wedding and exhibition follow-ups I called Mr.D to report to him of the progress and as he always wanted to help with the preparations.
