The first person to command everyone's attention was the current Magic Emperor, Julius Novachrono. Standing tall on the roof of an undamaged building, Julius was directing the magic knights in their efforts to rescue the people still trapped beneath the rubble of the Clover Kingdom's capital. His aura radiated hope and reassurance to the knights and citizens alike as they rallied under his guidance.

Among the ranks, Vanessa, Magna, and Luck joined the magic knights, tirelessly working to help the civilians in their respective areas, each doing their absolute best. Nearby, Owen, who had been possessed by an elf, was freed from the reincarnation magic by Alex. Now back to his usual self, Owen used his healing magic to mend the injured citizens alongside other knights with healing abilities, doing what they could to bring peace to the survivors.

Yami, the Black Bulls' captain, was perhaps the most taken aback. He stared in disbelief, the cigarette slipping from his lips as he rubbed his eyes, trying to convince himself that he wasn't just seeing things. The man before him—Julius, whom he believed had died protecting the kingdom—stood there, as real and alive as the day Yami had last seen him.

"Julius...?" Yami called out, his voice rough and uncertain.

As soon as they landed, Yami jumped down and approached the supposedly fallen Magic Emperor, his emotions a whirlwind of shock and anger. Julius simply smiled, lifting a hand in greeting. "Yami, well done! You protected the capital and took down the enemy."

A beat passed before Yami barked, "Hold up a second, you bastard! First, explain to me how the hell you're still alive! We all thought you were dead, you idiot!"

Julius chuckled at Yami's typical bluntness, his laughter light despite the tension of the moment.

"You should thank your subordinate for that," He replied, pointing to Alex. "He saved my life—and the lives of so many others."

Yami glanced toward Alex with a newfound respect, nodding in gratitude.

Alex responded with a grimace, his expression twisted in discomfort as if he couldn't stomach the gratitude coming from Yami, whom he'd always regarded as more of an elder brother figure.

Seeing Alex's reaction, Yami couldn't help but chuckle.

Fuegoleon and Nozel soon approached, saluting Julius before launching into detailed accounts of what had transpired in the Shadow Palace. When they paused, Yuno and Asta filled in the gaps, bringing Julius up to speed.

The Magic Emperor's surprise was evident when he was introduced to none other than the First Magic Emperor, Lemiel Silvamillion Clover himself.

With utmost reverence, Julius bowed. "Greetings, First Magic Emperor. I am the 28th Wizard King, Julius Novachrono. I apologize that you must witness the kingdom in such a sorry state after all you sacrificed to protect it."

Alex, witnessing the historic meeting, saw a chance to share it with everyone. He discreetly channeled his mana into a magic orb, causing screens to appear throughout the kingdom, broadcasting the scene so that all citizens could witness this legendary moment.

Lemiel smiled gently, gesturing for Julius to rise. "There is no need for apologies. I can see you've done your best. Besides, this generation is full of talented magic knights who have once again saved the Clover Kingdom. They will surely continue to protect it as well."

"Yes," Julius replied, pride evident in his voice. "Many here have inherited your will, working hard toward becoming the next Magic Emperor and, perhaps, even surpassing all who have come before."

At that moment, Alex took a step forward, raising a hand. "Actually, I also have something I'd like to ask the First Wizard King."

Lemiel's interest was piqued as he turned toward Alex.

"Ah, there is something I wish to ask you as well," He said with a nod.

"Then please, go ahead," Alex offered.

Nodding in appreciation, Lemiel asked, "What is the magic you possess besides Anti-Magic? And... how are you able to wield magic despite having Anti-Magic, which negates all magic?"

Alex chuckled but didn't answer directly. "Can you really see that?"

Lemiel nodded subtly, confirming his insight without words. In response, Alex revealed a secret he had long held close. "As you've observed, my Anti-Magic actually originates from a devil... much like Zagred."

The revelation shocked everyone. Yami, Nozel, and others recoiled slightly, some casting wary looks at Alex. Nozel and a few knights even seemed ready to restrain him.

Seeing this, Alex shook his head. A tiny, devilish creature appeared on his shoulder—a small figure with black skin, white hair, tiny horns, and an impish tail, accompanied by a pair of bat-like wings. Its beady white eyes and sharp grin only added to its mischievous appearance.

The little devil, Liebe, sneered, "You just had to go blabbing, huh? These humans barely managed to deal with one devil, and now they're all panicking."

Alex chuckled. "Hey, Liebe, let's not forget Mom is human, too."

With a blush, the small devil muttered, "Well... except for her... and you."

Alex then introduced Liebe to the others. "Everyone, meet Liebe—my devil and... my stepbrother."

While many were still processing this information, Noelle gazed at Liebe with fascination, blushing at its chibi form, finding it oddly adorable.

Amid the stunned silence, Yami patted Alex's shoulder, muttering, "So you're half a devil, huh? Your mom sure has... interesting taste."

Alex's face darkened, and he punched Yami, sending him sprawling. "Anyone else have comments like that?"

Seeing his grim smile, the rest shook their heads frantically. However, Yuno stepped up with a slight frown. "You've got another brother? Why didn't you tell me?"

Alex sighed, patting Yuno's shoulder. "He's my mother's adoptive son, which makes him my brother."

Yuno glanced at Liebe, asserting, "Alright, but remember, Asta is my brother first."

Even Alex was caught off guard by Yuno's competitive tone. He gave his friend a resigned sigh.

Finally, with a serious look, Alex turned to the others and declared, "Our mother was killed by a devil. Liebe and I have sworn to kill every last devil."

His determination resonated through the crowd, his voice carrying a fierce promise that lingered in the air.
