Unprepared

He couldn't imagine anyone wanting to steal a weapon like that. Not to mention the fact that it looked extremely heavy. Whatever was inside must be worth a lot of money to someone like him. Even someone like him. He watched as the guard carefully placed them onto the table.

Carefully picking one up and lifting it. It was heavier than he expected. When he turned around, Keith felt as though he was being scrutinized, studied. As though there was an invisible light shining down upon him, making him feel uneasy. He shuddered and looked at the floor. He'd rather look anywhere but at him.

He glanced back up briefly and felt a flash of anger surge through him. The guard was wearing black. Black armor and a mask, his face hidden by shadows. A band of red cloth covered his nose and mouth. He was standing so close to him that Keith could almost smell the alcohol on his breath.
