"Coral...I can explain," I said and Coral gave me a terrible look...

My silly mind:(🌙saint & 💩crap)•°=°•

🌙:of course I'm to be blamed for doing sneaky things behind her back,

💩: but to be honest, what you did wasn't really bad, yeah like, he's not even her boyfriend, and it would only be fair if you are crushing on the same guy.

🌙:and who said I'm crushing?, No I'm not crushing, I just went to return his umbrella, right!.

💩:And she doesn't have any right to judge you or get mad at you!.

🌙:But she liked him first!, 💩:Yeah she did, but it's obvious she hasn't made any progress in getting the guy, and there ain't any girl out there who is going to leave a guy like zebra prints for family, damn!!! Unless you're crazy!.

🌙:The point is.... I'm not crushing on Zebra prints, 💩: oh I see!!, Then why the fck did you lie about not meeting him and about the umbrella?, Why did you sneak?, Why did you want his number!!!, Why did you tell him you live next door!!!😤.

"Faye!!, You can explain?!, After I told you I like this guy?, You went behind my back and down to his apartment?, You betrayed my trust in you!, If you are a good friend, you wouldn't have done that!, And I should have known that you liked him judging by the way you talked so much about him!,", Coral yelled and shot me a wierd stare.

"Hey!!!, C'mon I just went to return the umbrella he lent me!,", I said obviously trying to avoid problems but she wasn't getting the message.

"Oh I see?, Then why did you tell me you just met him briefly?, Why didn't you tell me the full story!, How did his umbrella get to you?," Coral asked and I wasn't ready to start a full story anytime, so it was better to lie.

"I saw him going into his apartment and his umbrella fell so I went to give it to him," I lied and Coral scoffed.

"No one is that stupid, imagine your umbrella fall and you tell me you didn't know?, How big of a lie is that?, And why did you tell me earlier that he lent it to you?,

Nathan could never do that!, Even if you weather was under 10C°, he would rather let you die of pneumonia than lend you his hoodie, even if you're all drenched in the rain he would rather let you get cold than lend you his umbrella,

and he doesn't talk to strangers, so how the heck did you expect me to believe you?!, It's better you spill the truth or else!!!....".

💩:"Or else what?!, Or else what?!, Yeah what?!, I get it, you like the guy, so what are you going to do?!, You cannot force me into saying what I don't want to say, so what if I even like the guy?, can't I like a guy?, Just because you like him?, Uh?!, You are acting over bossy, and I do not like it, I'm going to kill you!!!!zzzzzzz....

I rehearsed in my mind but on the outside I didn't have the guts, so I just decided to spill the truth.

"I'm sorry... He gave it to me earlier today when I went out in the rain, I mean it!, I'm sorry I lied... I promise I never planned to hurt you or anything," I said and Coral just stared at me like a clueless freak.

This was her nature, she had always been like that as a kid, and the biggest thing I tried to avoid was her having a mental breakdown, and thinking about the word mental breakdown, it brought back memories.

13 years ago.

"Coral I'm sorry!!!, Coral can you please come out?", I screamed knocking on the door as my knuckles bled,

"you said you hate me!", Coral yelled from inside and I could hear the sound of her trying to open the gas.

"Coral no!!!, It was a joke!, Coral don't do this, we are friends remember?", I cried, as tears fell down my face endlessly, as my blouse got soaked in tears.

I trembled in fear as I dialed 911, "Hello is this 911?", "Yes this is the Toronto emergency center what is your complaint?", A voice said from the radio.

"Please help us!", I found myself saying this over and over again.

"Take a deep breath and Please calm down and tell me what the problem Is", the man said and I took a deep breath, and exhaled.

"Now go on", "it's my cousin, she's trying to kill herself!," I said.

"Okay where are you located can you give me your address?", He enquired and fuck I was annoyed by the question and scared at the same time, since I was worried things would go awry.

"it's down Denver street, no 101, the fourth floor," I said it in a way he could realize there was real danger.

"okay my team are headed over there but will be there shortly, but before then can you explain how exactly your friend is trying to kill herself?", He asked and I could smell the gas in the air.

"It's gas!, She's trying to blow herself up and she won't open the door", I said breathlessly as I panted.

"what!!, Okay now, there are two options left now, either you go out of the...Building now!, My team would be arriving in 02 minutes so evacuate the building", the man ordered and everything suddenly went blurry.

"no I can't leave her!!!", I cried and I could hear the faint voices of the man as I fell right on the ground slowly with my eyes wide open.

"evacuate now!!!", I heard the man say from the speaker and sirens wailed from outside, as I heard the lighter flicker.

I suddenly lost all will to move, as I laid there like a corpse, Wondering if this would be the end of me...

(This is just a flashback in Faye's life, and would be continued when the time comes, love y'all ❤️).

But!, Anyways, the past should dwell in the past, so I'm not going to trigger her emotions at all so she she won't lose her mind, not again.

"I got it...I understand....but promise me you'll never have anything to do with Nathan", Coral said and stretched her arm, opened her palm and folded all her fingers except her pinky finger for a pinky promise.

As I stared at her hand and right back to her pleading face, I couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with me, this guy is a guy I met just yesterday and I'm having second thoughts about not having to do anything to do with him?,

What the fuck is wrong with me?!, Why I'm I being like this?, Why do I feel like there's a weight on my shoulder that I definitely can't bring off.

As I stared into mid air I couldn't help but remember his face and back view as he ran in the rain..... there's no way I'm in love with this guy... this wierd guy...but... if.... I'm having second thoughts then it must only mean one thing.... I'm I in love??❤️....

POV (Faye),

I sat on the roof and stared at new York with a sad face, of course I had this sad expression on since I promised Coral not to have anything to do with Nathan,

it's true that I'm a coward, at least Coral is being sincere about her feelings while I was being a pip-squeak about it.

I scratched a part of my bum because of a mosquito bite and then I spotted something...on the neighbor's rooftop.

Zebra prints, I mean...Nathan, and....a new guy...., This guy... Looked wierd, like I'd seen him before, he looked familiar like....a younger version of him, anyways, I don't care I just hope they don't see me.

"Hey!!!", The guy yelled and waved from their rooftop staring right at me, I turned back to check if someone was behind and there was none, I waved back slightly as his lips stretched into a cool but cute smile.

Hazel eyes, dead eyes, brown haired, tiny lips, small ears and button nose, he had really long eyelashes,

I literally just scanned his whole face, with just a glance, and I admit, I've got those kind of round big eyes, that sees the whole world,(joke).

We kept waving and it soon turned awkward, "I'm Christian...and he's...., Nathan, I don't know if you know this but we are neighbors!!!, We and you",

He yelled and Nathan looked straight at me and gave an expressionless face then waved back with such a cool face, he was taller than Christian though.

"uhm.... I'm Faye!", I found myself yell, as I stared at these two stars staring at me, one smiling in such an addictive way, and one just staring like a pissed doll, but still looking hot🔥, this is fire!!!.

And then I thought.... I'm definitely going to compromise, I promised Coral why I'm I falling again?, And with two guys at a time?, This is compromising, i̶ f̶e̶l̶l̶ i̶n̶ l̶o̶v̶e̶ o̶n̶c̶e̶ a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶!!!

"Do you wear cologne?", Nathan asked and I nodded blushing as I played with my fingers.

"yes...I got it from alibaba.com it's called cute and fresh just like me, why do you ask??", I asked and he gave a slight frown.

"it smells like 💩 poop," Nathan said and I was startled when I actually thought he was going to compliment me.

"what!", I exclaimed and he sighed, "it stinks", he said and walked into his apartment slamming the door.
