The next day, both woke up early and did their usual routine. She went back to her room and wash herself while he did the same thing. When she was done, she decided to dress up.

She chose the 'classy office' style starting with a black v-neck blouse with a peet sleeve going down to a Louis Vuitton cream white leather skirt to Christian Louboutin's Triniboot 100 silhouette. She decided to let her hair flow down naturally. She did not want that over classy style. So, she decided to put a simple make up starting with light foundation that matched her skin, then to her eyebrows. She just shaped it the way she wanted to be.

Next, her eyeshadow were in light brown shade as she didn't want to outshine celebrities. Her eyeliner wasn't pointed since she felt like it was too classy and her lashes were curly and long already and putting mascara was enough for her eyes to be the highlight.

Then, she put a nude lipstick. Afraid of being too classy, she did not put a glossy lipstick to top her nude lips. Lastly, she put a brown shade blush on before she highlighted her cheekbones and her nose.

He on the other hand did not have the time to dress up but since he considered talking to his friend, he dressed up. He pulled out the nearest Dolce and Gabbana double-breasted wool martini-fit suit in black. His medium hair with subtle waves were not styled perfectly but it was still in its best condition.

He looked at himself from the mirror and looked at his features. His brows were in shape and his cheekbones were on point and so was his jawline. He was ravishing, indeed.

By the time she went downstairs, Jun was already finished with his breakfast and he was done toothbrushing and all necessary things.

"hey babe, eat your breakfast. I'll be back soon. Tell me if you're done, I'll come and pick you up,"

He gave her a peck on the lips before going out. When she thought that he was gone, he walked back to the dining room, forgetting something.

She was about to aks why when he answered fastt enough," I forgot something. You're gorgeous, babe, " then he proceed to steal a kiss before inhaling her natural scent.

He left her on a blushing mess but she was starting to get used to it already.

"what's with that Liana? Are you two real now? My goodness! The Lord God had answered my prayers," Manang Brenda exclaimed while placing her breakfast in front of her.

"I guess so, manang. Isn't he sweet?" she sighed, dreaming about his sweetness.

When she arrived at the company and went to open the door to his office, he noticed that it was locked. She prayed that he wasn't doing nasty stuff.

"Niko Laurent Stone, I'm here!" she sang, waiting for him to open. No one was on the floor, except for the secretary. So, she was comfortable singing.

"hey, does my brother brought another girl? Please tell me that this girl is actually a decent girl than the previous ones," she joked to the secretary.

The secretary just laughed at her and continued to chat with her.

"I don't know miss Vivienne. She seemed like a stripper, to be honest, but rumors said that she's a daughter of a rich man. Mr. Stone doesn't bring a low level girls in here,"

Her statement made sense to Liana. Although her brother was a bit playboy, he still had standards for his girls. He did not want a low profile girl who just want to climb to stardom or a girl who was below his level. In short, her brother was very picky and a heart breaker.

She waved goodbye to the secretary and went back to his office when he called her.

"and here I thought you were having a problem with regard to your company. Please Niko, your office should be your temple, don't make it dirty, especially when I'm around,"

"shut up goddess," he joked, twirling his chair. He passed the file to her and let her read.

"you want me to attend a meeting with an old man? Check the Financial department? Basically, more meetings. Do I look like a CEO to you?" she groaned as she flipped the papers while he kept on handing her folders.

"these businessmen are not just ordinary. Some attended your engagement dinner. Most of them knew your connection with me. If they do something stupid or threaten you, you know what to do—and if you can't, call me and I'll be there,"

He specially picked them so that she would be with safe men. He knew how important his sister was to him and their family. He won't just hand her to people who can use her as a threat and threaten her too, so she can do things she wasn't supposed to do.

She snapped dher fingers in front of him and asked, "are you listening to me?"

"yeah—what did you say again?"

She scoffed and repeated what she said. "as I said a while ago, I'll read these papers first and after that, I'll go ahead and check the financial department. Just give me the situation in the department and I'll be sure to fix it,"

During her time reading those files, Niko was rounding up his men to pay a visit to White Hospital and ask for Liana's records.

He excused himself to the toilet when his phone rang.

"does he talk to his girls in the bathroom too? That's actually weird, and disgusting," she remarked.
