When Niko told her that, she didn't know how to react. She was not surprised with what her grandma Li did. She was always overprotective when it comes to her. However, flying to another country was unreasonable. Doctors here in her country were professionals yet when it comes to her Grandma's standards, they're always the lowest.

Meanwhile, Jun was negotiating with Julius, almost sparking up some conflict with him. As of this moment, Julius speaking up would be very much helpful. Sadly, Jun wasn't the patient one.

He was stuck in Louise's office as the detective went to investigate Julius further. Within an hour later, she came back with her journal filled with information.

Immediately, Jun stood up and was about to snatch the journal when she hid it behind her and pushed him away. He growled when he was pushed by her.

Jun was clearly confused. Surely, he thought that Liana's family was something else and his family might be also in trouble, but never in a millisecond he did thought of backing out. He's still going to marry her.

He was trying to put it altogether and planned on how to ask help from her family members. He might not be so close with them but when it comes to her all things are necessary.

She sighed and reassured him, "okay, I'll be here, take care"

When he arrived, she walked towards him and engulfed him with a warm hug before they walked over to the living room with his hand on her waist, of course.

"what did you get?" she asked after handing him a glass of water. She sat down opposite him, to her couch and flopped down.

Ashley and Victoria were currently back to their houses and will return shortly.

"hey baby, do you remember what happened when you were 7?" he asked.

She raised her head and recalled the time. She didn't really remember everything. Only the time when she was rushed to the hospital.

"I don't really remember but I was rushed to the hospital. Is something wrong? Was the incident connected with the criminal?" she walked over him and sat beside him.

"Niko didn't really told me much and I'm pretty much accurate in him putting the pieces already,"

In his mind, he was thinking about Niko. He might knew about what happened 14 years ago. A 16 year old teenager could know a lot of things, especially when he is a member of the Stone family. After all, a family's secret is well hidden.
