For what it seemed to be the reason

Jun looked at her while listening at her narration. He felt proud that she was able to heal and overcome the situation.

Just then, his phone rang. He got a call from Louise. He put the phone on loud speaker and told Liana to listen too.

"what did you get?" he asked, impatient.

Louise on the other hand was trying to explain everything calmly. "the hospital didn't give me enough information but I payed. Apparently, our guess was right. Julius was the cleaning staff that was assigned to treat Liana's wounds. He did not make it on time because he went to Estersnow to attend the labor of his wife. Liana's records before he left was stable and that was the only reason why he left. He thought that nothing could go wrong. However, the nurse that attended her before him was unskilled. She got fired too. I'm pretty sure that her family was behind of all that. Anyways, that's not the real deal, "

Confused, Jun asked her about everything. Liana went beside him to listen carefully. She was almost in tears. She did not know how cruel her family was. Her family is still cruel as hell.

"When he got fired, he begged the directors to let him go back but he kicked him out. When he applied a better job at a local company, he was not accepted. He was not accepted in any hospitals. He was unable to feed his family and that forced him to beg at the streets. Apparently he caused ruckus while he stayed in the streets. H-he umm...he blamed the Stone's for the misfortunes of his life. The job that balanced his life was taken away. T-that w-was until uhh...someone took h-him and took care of him, in some sort of way, "

Jun coughed awkwardly before thanking Louise for her good work. She replied with her usual line which was 'that's what I'm supposed to do'

" how could they do that? "she whispered, breathing heavily. She looked at the ground as the news shocked her to the bone.

Jun sighed deeply and gave her a hug.

He tried to comfort her with his words by saying, " H-hey don't cry. It's all in the past,"

" what if he seeks revenge and caused havoc? I can't afford that," she softly cried out. Deep in her heart, her family mattered to her and she would do anything to protect them.

Ever since she was a child, she was always being taught about the true value of family. People would do anything to reserve their family. That was why family is a sacred thing.

Family support and cherish their members and each day, she was able to experience that, as the only daughter.

So, when she knew that this Julius Kim was trying to get her revenge and severe her family, she would have and should have taken consideration for him. She would be prepared for any counterattack from Julius. She couldn't afford to see one of her family getting hurt.

"I won't let him do that. Your family is my family too," he emphasized each words, giving meaning to it. He hated seeing her cry but he was always naive when it comes to comforting her.

Notwithstanding he grew up with his sisters and got plenty of friends who were women, he was not used to comforting one.

Precipitously, he stood up and went to the kitchen. She stayed on the floor, still crying. She didn't bother him standing up and leaving her.

But, he came back with spoons and a tub of ice-cream. He slowly wiped her tears away and kissed her forehead before handing out the ice-cream.

"Aeeyy, you surely know the trick," she said while eating.

He smiled and went to eat his own tub too.

"hey, what's the use of our movie room when we always watch TV shows and movies in here?" she asked him. Her question was unexpected, truly out of the blue.

"design? We'll eventually use that,"

If she knew what he was saying, she would have gotten the idea of him talking about babies and the process.

An hour passed and she was sleeping inside her own room. She figured out that the best way to relax her mind was to take a nap. Of course, she asked Jun for permission as she was guilty of leaving him in the living room.

-Living room-

Jun was chilling in the living room, thinking on how to solve the problem of what it seems to be difficult and that her family was responsible for all of this.

He was just as shocked as Liana. Julius' past seemed to be very painful and blaming her family was right. Her family practically bullied him and his family by doing those crazy stuffs. How can a decent person do that? Taking all the job opportunities away from his hands when all he could do was to embrace those jobs to support his family? That was one hella wrong move.

In any case, he can't still stand against her family and in the future, his own family too. In this time, he could only be selfish and punish Julius for threatening the life of his Liana.

Just as he was about to check on Liana, Loiuse crashed up his phone. He got no choice but to answer it and when he did, he didn't know whether to be glad or go mad upon hearing her statement.

"and how on earth did he fvking escape?!" he roared. Manang Brenda and Tutor Hao silently closed the kitchen door when hearing his loud and earth shattering voice.
