I finally arrived at the melee competition, I was afraid as a lot of people here are big and it seems there is man looking at me, wanting to kill me. I do not even know him, I know something was amiss when the kids are giving wine to some of the competitor but why only some of them. there are a lot of people here, I also notices the three sellswords training me have also joined the melee and they told me to hang back then the melee finally started.

The moment the melee starts I charged right to him immediately but all of a sudden I was surrounded by 5 men and they started beating me up, when I was able to escape, I saw that a lot of the competitors are dizzy and all the others are beating up the dizzy one, they are not even attacking him this man has no honor to think he even cheated on this tourney.

Carlos POV

What the fuck !!! Serena has paid off half the competitors and drugged the rest. It seems most of the dizzy one are gone immediately and the man who is leering at me like crazy was now surrounded by 10 men forcing him to yield, after that the rest yielded one after the other. I just swing the blade on the few of my allies just yielded immediately in the end I won the melee.

Serena POV

3 million Gold Dragons on winnings though I have lost 100 thousand by paying the other competitors but still it is not a lost compared to my winnings.
