1 year later

It's been about a year now and a whole lot has happened. For starters Adrianna is now 8! We recently just celebrated her big birthday. She's really growing up so quickly, I'm glad of how everything turned out. I'm glad her dad is apart of her life now and that he's there for the moments that truly matter. I personally never thought that life could've even ended up this way. Her dad and me…Me and Luciano are still together in fact I decided to stay in Italy not only for me but also for Adri since she wanted to be closer to her dad. We moved into Luciano's house and we have weekly dinners with Amara and her family. Their father however moved away. It was shortly after that argument with Luciano, they still talk but it's still pretty awkward between them all.

I got a new job with higher pay in Italy and I've been taking weekly Italian lessons with Adrianna. I'm still a graphic designer but now I just work in Italy, I wanted to work at Luciano's company but we agreed that dating the boss wasn't exactly the most Ideal situation for us. I've pretty much been living my best life right now. Adri's having fun at her new school, she goes there with a new bestie Eve. It's been good now that it's not just the two of us, I don't have to do everything by myself now. I think I really needed that, as much as the old me would've hated to admit that.

Luciano's POV

It's been about a year now and everything is going good. But today I'm gonna do something big. The only people that know about this is Amara and Julien who helped me to plan this out perfectly the only thing I need from Gabriella is to get her out and get her to say yes. If you didn't already figure it out I'm going to propose to her. Now all I have to do is to tell her something like I'm taking her out so that I can pull through with my plan. Since Amara and Julien agreed to babysit for us I have a higher chance of this working out.

"Adri could you get your momma for me? Tell her that it's extremely important." She nodded and went upstairs to grab her for me.

"What's going on? Are you ok?" Gabriella said.

"Yeah yeah, um Adri could you go upstairs please?"

"Don't do anything weird while I'm gone." She said going up the stairs.

"So, we haven't been out in a while...so I was just thinking that we could get a little break tonight? Before you say no, I already got Adri a babysitter, she'll be fine. Please say yes."

"Ok, I've actually been thinking about that for a while so sounds great. But why did you ask Adri to go?"

"So that I could do this." I pulled her in for a quick little kiss.

"Makes sense, she still hates pda even after getting used to us."

"Do you remember the first time she met me? What happened after you so kindly kicked me out?"

"Nothing too much but I bascically listened to her crying and screaming and just decided to come clean and tell her the truth. You know there was a time when I wanted to tell her that you were a big Rockstar musician who was too busy for her."

"Man I wish I could have seen her growing up, you've got to show me the pictures, please tell me you took pictures?"

"Yes, there's a picture book and even a whole album on my phone."
