“Mommy! She’s moving around!” I smiled as Lux jumped around in joy – his father just beside him as he was spectating with widened eyes and a gaped mouth.
“Look, she’s looking at me,” Jaughnn slightly boasted to his son. I laughed at their antics, Lavender hasn’t even opened her eyes – she’s literally sleeping.
They were bickering back and forth about outrageous and downright impossible things such as Lavender whining for them to get closer or Lavender holding her hand out for them.
I ended up watching them gawking at Lavender.
However, as I got closer and read the name placard for Lavender – my eyes widened. I turned to Jaughnn as I couldn’t believe my eyes.
“Dianne Lavender Dean,” I read out loud as I looked at Jaughnn – asking for a valid answer as to why he made Lavender’s name like this.
Jaughnn looked at me and sheepishly smiled, “I felt like it was the most fitting for such a beautiful child, I couldn’t resist it.”
