Chapter Seventeen

When they all left to come rescue me and Samantha, all the power I had used drained me completely. I collapsed on the floor of the morgue and for once I fell asleep. Not for long though as the door banged open. Me and Samantha both jumped up in alert as our kidnapper and old man walked in.

The old man was tall but had a hunch back a little. He had white hair and beard and he walked around with a cane. I took that to be his weakness that and his age.

"Its good to finally meet you."

"I would say the same thing if you weren't here to kill me." I said. He chuckled at that, but I didn't find anything funny about what I said. My heart was beating very fast. Right when my hope came back, it was suddenly taken away. I finally got in touch with Marcus and the twins. They finally found where I was and now I'm going to die.

"Why did you kill my parents." I refuse to die. If I could, I'll just stall him enough until they find where I am. Hopefully I can stall him long enough though.

"For power of course, but it didn't work."

"Why not?"

"The reason why isn't important. Talking about this is just a waste of time."

"Its important to me. So why didn't it work?"

"Because your mom put her powers into you at the last minute. Your father wasn't a witch so he had no powers."

"Thats why you been looking for me all this time."

"Bingo."

"Why do you need power though. Your old enough to die any minute. I bet if I pop up out of no where and scare you, you will have a heart attack and die." I watched as the old man's nose flared up. I guess I pissed him off. But I'm right, someone as old his him shouldn't need anymore power.

"With your power I will be able to live longer."

"Oh really? So your the evil queen to snow white now? You going to get younger the moment you take my power and live forever? Really man, we don't live in a fairy tail. This is the real world. If you take my power you will still look old, wrinkly, and ugly."

At this point I don't even care if I piss him off. He wasted his time, my time, the kidnappers time. Everyone's time, all because he wants me powers to live longer in that ugly wrinkly body.

The old guy walked in front of me and held out his hands. I was going to back away but I couldn't move. I couldn't speak either. I couldn't do anything but look up at him as he was sucking my power out of me. I could feel my powers slowly draining out of my and into him.

As he was about to drain me of all of my powers, I heard the door bang open again before I collapsed and passed out. Or maybe I died for a minute, because the next thing I see is total darkness surrounding me.

Then I saw two figures walking towards me. I squinted my eyes so I could see them more clearly, but I couldn't. Once they got closer I could finally see who it was. When they were just a foot away from me, I looked at them with wide eyes. Then I ran and hugged them as I cried.

I must have died, because if I didn't I wouldn't be here right now with my parents in front of me. My dad pulled me back to look at me. Then his eyes roamed down to where my stomach was and he smiled. My mom smiled too. My mom kissed my forehead and then she kissed my stomach.

"Its not your time yet. Go back and be with your family."

After she spoke I woke up to chaos. Everyone around me was fighting and being thrown into or through walls. I slowly sat up in time to see Scarlet being thrown into the air and through a walk. I watched as Hunter flung the old warlock into the air. Then the old warlock threw a electric bolt at them. Scarlet pushed Hunger out of the way in time, but she couldn't move out of the way in time. Electric bolt hit her right in her arm, making a hole in her arm.

She stood up, but her body swayed from the blood lost. She used her fire power to glide her into the air, then she attacked the old warlock with her fire balls. Then Marcus attacked him in his wolf form.

While Marcus was fighting the old warlock in his wolf form I ran over to Scarlet. She had fainted when Marcus took over the fight. Hunter was right beside her, trying to wake her up. As I sat down next to her, I raised my hands above her body. Mainly over her arm that now had a hole through it.

I used my powers, but I had to use her healing powers in order to heal her. I wasn't sure if I could heal her whole arm, but I tried. I used all of my energy to heal her.

I couldn't heal her arm completely, but I healed it enough to where the hole in her arm became smaller. She will need stitches but she will be fine. After I watched her being thrown through walls, I wasnt sure if she had any other injuries. So I moved my hands above her entire body just in case. When I was done, I too fainted and blacked out for the second time that night.

I woke up in a hospital. I tried to look around but my body wouldn't move. Before I could panick I blacked out again.

I woke up and blacked out a few more times before I woke up completely this time. I was still in the hospital. I moved my head around to see my surroundings when I met my soul mates eyes.

I smiled at him and he smiled back. He took my hand and rubbed it. I had missed his touch so much. With everything I been through I finally let it all out. I cried and cried and cried, until Marcus climbed into my hospital bed and held me.

He gave me what seemed like a million kisses before I stopped crying. Then I thought about the babies and I started to panick.

"The babies!"

"They are fine. Scarlet healed you and the babies. She brought you and the babies back to life." I calmed down a little bit, knowing my babies are fine.

"What about Scarlet, how is she?" She's fine as well.

"Good that's good."

Two months later I was sitting in my office in the pack house doing paper work. As boring as that may sound, I was more than happy to do it. Anything was better than being in that morgue.

Oh that reminds me. After I was safely out of the morgue. Marcus, Hunter, the twins, Luis and Dr. Henderson saved all of the other girls. Samantha and all of the other girls were all in the hospital as well. Now they are with their families.

The old warlock died by Marcus and my kidnapper was sentenced to life. He wasn't in an ordinary prison though. We locked him up in the prison me and the twins made. One with no magic whats so ever.

As for the girls who didn't survive in that morgue. Well I had Marcus take care of that, since he is a detective. He had a picture of all twenty victims and sent them to the news company. The next day, on the news they had announce that those missing girls were found, but they hadn't survived.

A week after the news announced the dead victims, those family held funerals for them. We of course helped pay for the funerals aa best as we could.

A month after Scarlet and Hunter had gone back to England to take the throan. That leaves me here a month after they left, doing paper work.

Marcus helped out with some of the paperwork while I gone. The only thing I had to do now is invite wolf packs to my territory so we can help find soulmates to my single wolf members.

Marcus had already sent in the paperwork that states that I'm the pack alpha of Missouri. I couldn't keep uo with my house and the pack house, so I ended up selling my house and moved into the pack house. Every day since I been out of the hospital, I have been getting ready for my twins to come. Which reminds me, I'm having two baby girls.

We decided to name them Skyla and Emma. We made them their own room which is joined to our room. Its just seperated by a bathroom. I have been fixing the pack house, making it look more like a home.

After we throw the party we decided to recruit more people into this pack. The party will be held in two more months from now.

As for the witch clan, I am still the leader of it, but let's face it. I can't take care of twins, a wolf pack, and a witch clan at once. So I have the twins Alyssa and Jalyssa as my witch betas. While I'm here Manning the fort, they will be there taking care of the clan. I will pop up once in a while and help. But for the first few months after the twins are done, I won't be there.

As I was finishing up the last paperwork for today, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. I didn't recognize the number, hell I don't even think the number Belongs in this country. I answered it anyways.

"Hello?"

"Hi, may I speak to Jennifer Black please."

"This is her."

"Hi, this King Lance of England. I'm calling to invite you to stay at my kingdom for a weekend. I heard you were the one who saved my daughters life, Princess Scarlet. In order to thank you properly, I would love to have you stay with us for a weekend and have dinner with us."

"Wow, really it's not a big deal. She saved my life as well, I was just returning the favor."

"Nonsense, I want to give you thanks and I want to meet you. Won't you please come?"

"Sure, I mean...yes I will."

"Great! How about this weekend coming up then?"

"Sounds great. I'll see you then."

"I'll be looking forward to it." We both hung up the phone as Marcus walked in.

"Where exactly will you be going, my beautiful wife and soon to be mother of my child?" Oh did I forget to mention that Marcus and I finally got married two weeks after I got out of the hospital? Well we did and it was a very beautiful moment. I had Alyssa, Jalyssa and Scarlet as my brides maids. Marcus had Luis and Hunter as his best men and Dr. Henderson was the one who married Marcus and I.

"I just got off the phone with King Lance, Princess Scarlet's dad. He invited us to come and stay at his palace in New England this weekend. As thanks for saving his daughter. I told him we would be there."

"Wow..." Thats all Marcus could really say. I don't blame him, I was just as speechless as him. I stood up, wrapped my hands around his neck, and kissed him.

"New England here we come."
