Chap 43:- Ugly Looking Brat
Everyone was still dumbstruck at how could someone whose aura is clearly inferior to his opponents, can easily crush him.
Diana stood up and walked to the stage at the centre of the battlefield.
"Hello everyone." She bowed to everyone.
Everyone snapped out of their thoughts and bowed back at her.
"I hope you all liked today's tournament, it was a splendid one." She smiled and continued, "Wong and miss Alisha, I would love to invite you to my palace for a cup of coffee."
Alisha quickly got up from her seat and thanked her for the invitation.
"I'm thankful to queen Diana."
Zeno simply bowed and sat back.
'This kid has a huge ego...' Diana glared at Zeno and then continued.
"I'm looking forward to this year's battle tournament, especially the final one." She walked back to her seat.
"Hey Barbara, fetch me all the information on that Wong kid." She ordered her assistant.
"Yea ma'am." She bowed and quickly went to grab as much intel as she could.
"Thank you, Queen Diana! Now we request all the wardens to come here and pick a card over here." They pointed to a box which appeared on the stage.
"This box contains your faith in the tournament, there are five cards inside, three are blank and two have written duel on them."
All the five wardens walked tk the box and took out the cards one after the other.
"Those who got the empty cards please move down from the stage."
Ice, lighting and Dark continent stepped down. Magma and Flare stood facing each other.
"Flare and Magma continent would be fighting each other in a duel and the remaining three continents that are Dark, Ice, and Lighting will have a royal rumble."
"They will send their top two students on the battlefield, they can fight any opponent they like, and the last one standing will move to the final round with his or her team."
'So she wants to check my strength... This queen must be shown her place.' Zeno clenched his fist and gave a glare to queen Diana.
Diana felt a chill through her spine on seeing his glare.
'This ugly brat... What does he think of himself!' She was boiling with rage on seeing someone almost half of her age giving her glares.
"Captain... Rules have been changed...?" Catherine asked, confused by the new rule.
"That bitch wants a show from me... So I will give her one, and let the final match begin... I will show her what this ugly brat really looks like!" Zeno had more than fifty abilities, and Yuun decided to give him some of her blood so he can learn her ability, due to his high amount of aura he can control when to use this ability and when to not.
"Huh... You are too flashy you know..." Catherine sighed and laid back.
After giving out the remaining details they were asked to dismiss back to their hotel rooms.
"Zeno, they said that our next battle would be the day after tomorrow, and the final one would be held after four days." Denny thickly gave him the intel which he received from other wardens.
"Hmm, let's get to our rooms and chill out, there are forty-eight hours left for our next battle." Zeno stretched his arms and walked back to his room.
On the other hand, their second team is still trying to locate the valley of souls, it is a very isolated place and is always kept under high security because it is the place where the royal spacial beasts are kept and bred.
"Our hunting unit is working hard, they said it would take them two days more to find queen Dianas beast." Rain told Zeno about all the information she could gather.
"Hmm, well they are faster than most id the losers out there, so not bad." Zeno let out a deep sigh and closed his eyes to relax.
Rain left a cup of coffee for him and left the room.
'She is soo cute! I love coffee!' Zeno quickly gulped down the coffee and began to create his strategy for the next rumble round.
After searching his head for a day he finally came up with a strategy.
"Hello! Am sorry it took me longer than expected to come up with a strategy." Zeno tossed the notebook at the centre table and jumped on the couch.
"Ahh, captain... We are already super strong, we are a thousand times stronger than those kids! We can just triumph over them with our auras!" Catherine sighed and began reading the notebook.
"Of course, we can do that when we are attacking the whole tournament, but while fighting someone inside a battlefield where millions of eyes are watching us, we can't show our real strength or they will find something suspicious." Zeno stretched his arms and continued.
"I and Renn will be going for the battle."
"No way!" Rain couldn't accept this, not at any cost.
"Huh... Hear me out first...." Zeno couldn't believe he was stopped in the middle of his sentence.
"She is like a scared cat! She fears fighting! You can't expect her to fight alongside you!" Rain would never let her competitor get close to him.
"Listen up first. She is weaker than most of us, but she is not a scared cat, I analysed her skills and I found out that she is pretty good at creating barriers." Zeno explained to her the reason why he chose Renn.
"You can create better barriers than her!"
"I can, but the move which I plan on using requires someone else's barrier. I want to create an explosion." Zeno jumped from the couch and walked to the centre.
"I won't hear any more excuses, Renn will be coming with me." Zeno sat beside Renn and continued with a smile. "Would you like to join me for tomorrow?"
It was the first time she was being hit, and also by someone, she looked up to.
"Yes, I will!" She was extremely happy to battle alongside Zeno.
"Great, Zeno patted her on the head and began walking out.
"Meet me at the stadium by five in the morning, I want to talk with you." Zeno winked before getting back to the rooftop.
Rain rushed towards Renn and gave a scary stare.
"W... What happened miss Rain...?" Renn held a smaller position than Rain so she couldn't disrespect her.
She pulled her ear close to her face and continued, "Dont you dare get on the cloud ninth, he has a girlfriend, and she will kill you if she finds that you were behind him!"
Renn froze up in fear and replied with a nod.
