entrance exam pt.2:

third person pov: the exams were finally over and y/n was currently waiting for midoriya outside of the u.a high entrance.. she's been there for at almost twenty minutes. she was about to leave until she finally saw him come out of the school with a bandage wrapped around his arm

y/n: (sighs) midoriya, what took you so long..

(she asked knowingly what happened to him.. she found it amusing listening to him rambling about his problems)

izuku: oh- uhm.. sorry kim-san, i-i got hurt- really bad

y/n: (scoffs) let me guess, you were the one who took down the boss robot

izuku: uh- yeah.. how did you know

y/n: i'll tell you once we start walking.. the more we stay here the more time we waste getting home

izuku: n-now can you answer my question..

y/n: people were talking about a boy destroying the boss robot and getting zero points on the normal ones..

izuku: oh.. - i broke our promise and i probably flunked the exam (while avoiding her gaze)

y/n: it's fine- i actually didn't think that promise through

izuku: w-what do you mean..

y/n: how could i expect you to get higher results if you just got your quirk today..

izuku: y-you're right.. i didn't think that through too. anyway, how did you do

y/n: (shrugs) it's not really important but i probably got enough points to pass the exam.. maybe higher

izuku thoughts: that's what i expected.. she's obviously all mights daughter and seems far more experienced than me

izuku: (smiles awkwardly) congrats

y/n: thanks.. well, let's just hope that luck's on your side and you'll probably get into u.a high..- this is my stop

izuku: a-already..

y/n: (nods) i live by u.a high.. so almost a quick drive down the street

izuku: o-oh ok.. well (blushes lightly) t-thank you kim-san

y/n: your welcome midoriya.. bye

izuku: b-bye..

readers thoughts: (smiles a bit) am i really the first girl he talked too.. he really sucks at conversations. hopefully he doesn't make himself look like a fool if he makes it into u.a high, i already have high doubts that he will

time skip home...

reader pov:

readers thoughts: once i made it home i was greeted by my father and mother chatting about his day at work; which was watching the people at the exams. while drinking tea

y/m: (smiles) welcome home, y/n. how did the entrance exam go

y/n: same as usual.

all might: (sighs) you really need to work on your spirit.

y/n: (looks away) i-i know that.. it's cringy supporting people compared to stating the hard truth

y/m: (smiles a bit while placing her arm on the table while using her hand to support her head) and that's where you mess up- you're really blunt

y/n: so you're saying that it's better to tell lies than the harsh truth

all mights: w-well.. it's not completely lying

y/n: (scoffs) how did that go for midoriya

all might: that was only to avoid pressuring him too much about one for all.. plus he's already aware of the consequences

y/m: (clasps her hands together)- anyway. how is midoriya doing, i heard about his injury and recovery girl healing him

y/n: (sighs) he's doing fine.. except the fact that i had to wait for him to come out of the school for almost twenty minutes. are you sure that he's ready for your power

all might: (smiles) i'm obviously your father, all might and the symbol of peace. not only did i tell him about my life but i entrusted him with my quirk which he did a pretty good job with. he's ready, are you perhaps worried about him (teasingly)

y/m: oh yeah.. it's rare for you to care about someone to the point of asking about them (while smirking playfully)

y/n: i'm not worried about him. i'm just wondering if his body can handle your power, did you see the way he broke his arm. he has a lot of hope in his dreams but i wonder if hope is the way he'll get through life. life is unfair- while following that comes unfair consequences (deadpanned)

all might: (sighs before taking a sip of his tea) i saw. but that's the first step of becoming a hero, you get hurt and you try again.. when i was first encountered him i felt the same way you felt. why would a quirkless boy want to become a hero, find a job that suits you. i told him that, but when i came to stop the sludge villain again he wanted to defend his rival. he got into action like a hero, he was quirkless yet came to aid which inspired me to fight back. even though i was still weak, y/n have some faith in him

y/n: i-i.... i'll think about it

(then she left to her room..)

y/m pov:

y/m: that was a really nice pep talk, better than i could do

all might: i just hope that knocks some sense into her brain.. even tho she has a lot

y/m: hahaahha, i hope so too. she doesn't realize it, but she's a handful
