The Game Masters Game

"NOW IM NOT UNFAIR SO ILL TELL YOU THE GAME AND THE CONDITIONS OF WINNING!" The Game Masters low, raspy voice calls out over the intercom "THE GAME IS AN EVER INCREASING AMOUNT OF UNDEAD, OoOoOoOo, WILL APPEAR AND TRY TO KILL YOU. TO WIN: YOU MUST SURVIVE! LET THE GAMES BEING! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He lets out a laugh as the intercom cuts out.

While the explosion was settling a majority of the people got out but for some reason Jason and his friends couldn't move. It was only after the Game Master  stopped talking and a little boy walked into view crying out "Mommy, mommy! Where are you?"

With that Trinity breaks from the group and scoops the boy up telling him "We'll keep you safe until you can find your mommy."

Jason releases a beam of light into the sky and about seventy feet up it collided with a barrier of some sort. "I'm going to keep this going so people can make there way over here. George and Lillian can you guys go and tell anyone you see that the light is safe."

"Sure thing." Both say. George grabs a large chunk of debris and turns it into a jet pack and flies off. Lillian releases her mist and makes a set of wings and also takes flight.

"What about us Jason?" Blake asks.

"We need to make this area a defensive spot so can you makes walls?" Jason asks

"I can but it will take time because I need to pull the metal to me first." Blake responds.

Stepping up Trinity says  "I'll cover you while you do. But what about you Jason? Of your focusing on drawing in all that light and releasing it then you can't attack."

Jason smirks a little "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve." He says straining a bit "Go do your part and I'll do mine." The other two turn away as the first undead creatures start to appear. Now Jason whispers "Hey Jasper I need your help." And as he does Jasper materializes.

Once fully materialized Jasper is standing in front of Jason holding the book. "While you are not ready Master Jason I must allow you access to a few more quirks. I must warn you. This process will painful. I am bestowing you with three new quirks at once. You will be given access to Enhancement, which I told you enhances your quirks and you physical abilities, Sun Fire, which is white hot flames that you can blast out, and Healing Touch, which I don't need to explain. Do you accept?"

To Jason this sounded like a killer deal. A little pain but he gets three whole new quirks! "Yes I accept." With those words a flash hits Jason and he throws his head back and screams. To say it was torture would be putting it lightly. White fire blast out of Jason's eyes and mouth shooting as high as the barrier let's it.

Seeing the sudden intense light and feeling the even more intense heat both Blake and Trinity exclaim "What the fuck?" As they turn and see their flaming companion.

Then the fire subsided and Jason collapses. Some how he managed to keep his beam of light going the entire time. When he opens his eyes again everything looks like it's middle of the day to him.

A distant voice shouts "Go! Go check on him!" And the sound of muffled footsteps approaching then Trinitys face.

Her words were muffled but his hearing was coming back. "J-. Jason are you." He can hear her now "Jason hey are you ok?" She says patting his face because his skin was scalding hot.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." As Jason stands he feels his muscles tense and release. He definitely felt stronger. He felt good he realized.

"I'm good. I promise." He says looking her in the eyes. A flash of knowledge enters his mind for a split second. "I need one of your obsidian scales." He says suddenly.

"O-ok." She says confused but still pushes one out. Handing it to him she asks "Why?"

In response Jason places the palm sized scale between his hands and blasts it with his light powers. Upon revealing it I emits a constant stream of light straight up. "Oh ho! It actually worked" Jason laughed. "Awesome now lets help Blake." As the come over behind the slow shambling zombies come much faster infected sprinting through the undead. The pair rush, with Jason creating a sword and shield and Trinity turning her body into hard obsidian, and begin fending off the oncoming hoard. "Hurry up on that wall bro!" Jason shouts out.

"No shit! Let me focus." Blake calls out.

With such a target rich environment Jason couldn't target vital points. He was pretty much just hacking and slashing at the horde. It was much the same for Trinity. The pair could also hear other quirks going off in the distance although some seemed to be drawing closer. But that was good that meant more hands to fight. Seeing that Trinity was getting pushed back Jason tried out his new fire ability. Extending his hand and calling on the power Jason exploded fire out like a broke fire hydrant would water. Screaming in pain as the amount of power that just came out of his hand was the equivalent of Endeavors Prominence Burn ability. While yes he was in pain he cleared out a large chinch of the horde. And with Trinity's hardened body he didn't risk hurting her.

A large portion of the ground was now on fire killing off any undead who walked through the flames. He hears a sound above him and sees George and Lillian return. "We've both got all the survivors moving here. And we can help now. The fuck was that bright light."

"Jason did that." Trinity said.

"Jasper?" His best friends asked landing beside him.

"Jasper." Jason said in confirmation.

"How many?" George asked.

"Three."

"What the fuck are you guys talking about?" Trinity asks.

"I'll te-" Jason gets cut off.

"NOW NOW! THAT WASNT VERY SPORTSMAN LIKE MISTER FIRE QUIRK! I THINK ILL SEND YOU SOMETHING SPECIAL TO DEAL WITH WHILE THE OTHERS FIGHT OFF MY UNDEAD!" The Game Master shouts out clearly upset.

When the intercom clicks off something impacts the ground hard enough to shake it a little fifteen feet away from Jason. "Oh fuck!" He says as the next swarm of undead hurts towards the now mostly built fortress.

From the smoke and dust comes a knight clad in red armor wielding a two handed sword. The knight points its blade at Jason "Arm yourself and fight or die a dishonorable death boy." The knights dead booming voice calls out. So Jason creates another blade and shield. "Good. Now to see if you are worthy!" And the knight closes the distance between himself and Jason in a millisecond. If it weren't for the enhancement quirk Jason wouldn't have even seen him move. As the knight drew closer he chopped down at Jason's head with his massive blade.

Having only a split second to do something so he wouldn't die Jason raised his shield knowing it wouldn't be enough to stop the blade. His shields were never strong. When the impact came Jason didn't even feel it jar his arm much less cut through his body.
