Final Battle

Jason and George step into the arena. "You ready for this George?"

"Man I've been wanting to do a quirk battle with you for a while now." George says jokingly.

"No holding back buddy. Because I won't." Jason says.

"You've got it."

As the boys take up positions opposite of each other Zip calls for the start of battle. Jason makes a sword and shield out of shadow this time. And stumbles in the sand as he moves to rush. On the other side George fumbles with his materials and dumps them in the sand. He quickly scoops a few up as Jason rushes forward closing the distance. As Jason gets closer George retreats and makes a bow and a few arrows. As he draws and shoots Jason places as much of his body behind his shield as he can. George shoots and his arrow shatters against the shield. Two more arrows get sent down range. One grazes Jason cheek and the other gets lodged into the shin area of the leg missing the bone. Jason stumbles again and slams his shield into the ground creating a wall. Jason creates a bow and calls out to George "So you want a ranged battle?"

"I can't fight you head to head in melee Jason!" George shouts back as he fires three more arrows at Jason's wall. Jason pops out and fires one shot as he almost gets pin-cushioned. Jason drops his shield and runs at George. George hits him in the arm twice and once more in the leg but Jason just keeps moving. He reaches George and tackles him slamming him into the ground. Jason creates a shadow rope as he and George wrestle on the ground. They fight blow for blow. And eventually Jason incapacitates George tying him up.

"This match is over!" Zip shouts.

With that Jason dissipates his binding on George. "I'd help you up but..." he trails off and looks at his arm and leg.

"Yeah. I get it." George says looking rather put out.

"George! Oh my god are you okay?" Lillian shouts as she runs to him and begins untying him.

"Uhhh yeah I'm not the one with arrows buried into him." He says pointing at Jason's arms and legs.

"Oh..... um..... right..." she stands suddenly and runs back to the rest of the class.

"George! Get up and escort Jason to the nurses office." Zip shouts "The rest of you are going back to the classroom."

On the way to the nurses office Jason looks at George and says "You know I did not think you were that oblivious George."

"What do you mean?" He says in response.

"Dude. I have like six arrows in me and Lillian ran straight to you to make sure you were ok."

"Well maybe she just assumed you weren't ok and thought she should check on me."

"Or. And hear me out. She likes you."

"Well no duh she likes me. We wouldn't be friends otherwise."

"Oh dear god." Jason says in defeat.
