Prologue

Many people believe that there is such a thing as 'luck' in the world. Although this thing cannot be seen or touched, it does indeed affect our lives. For example, a gambler, if lucky enough, can win big and become rich overnight in the first half of the night; but if luck turns bad, he may lose everything and end up selling his underwear by the second half of the night.

There is a saying that represents this well: when luck comes knocking at your door, you can't stop it. But once it leaves you, there's no way to keep it.

If someone suddenly gains special abilities to control their luck - picking up money on their way out of home, bumping into beautiful women while walking down the street or buying stocks that always go up - how awesome would that be?

But could something like this really happen?
