"Akira you know you don't even know if he likes or hates you." Norah states. "I know which is why I have to try at least to get him to like me." Akira said while holding on to her stomach. "Besides he avoids me like the plague. that's enough to know that I for a fact am nothing but a nuisance to him." Akira said sounding upset. "You know you could just get the termination done and you won't have anything to do with him." Zander said looking at his phone. "Seriously Zander?" Norah smacks him up the head. "I'm not getting rid of my baby. " Akira said glaring at him. "I'm just saying that you were living a normal life until everything up to that day turned everything around. The only solution I can think of for you is for you to get it done and have a different life identity." Zander shrugged.

"Well thanks for the idea but no. Even if I wanted to I can't. I signed a contract with him. remember?" Akira said as they entered the von Maur. " I'm well aware of that sweet heart but it just seems unfair to you to be with someone who doesn't like you and vice versa." Zander said earning a look of confusion from Akira. "Who said I don't like him? I simply said that he's a dull lifeless workaholic who could give a rats ass about me. " Akira pouted. "if he didn't care Akira why did he choose to marry you.? " Zander said earning a look of annoyance. "For the baby." Akira said simply. "Kira what this buffoon is trying to say is. that Darian came to you after he found out that you were pregnant." Nora said patting Akira's back.

"So what's that got to do with anything?" Akira said hopelessly." That means that he could have been left you and the baby this whole time." Nora said thoughtful. "And he didn't so. " Nora paused hoping Akira would be able to put two and two together. "If you're going to say that he likes me because of what he's done then you'll.. " Akira paused realizing. "He likes me? Holy Neptune he likes me. " Akira shouted aloud only to gain some stares from people. "But I don't know how I feel about him." Akira said in realization. "Well it's obvious sweetie." Nora said as she placed her hand on her shoulder. "You like him just as much as he likes you." Akira looked at Nora and Zander and started laughing. "Yeah no."

Zander and Nora looked at each other baffled. "Akira you like him." Nora said, only for Akira to look at her and smile. "Why would I like someone who doesn't notice me?" Akira said as she began looking through clothing. "Besides our couple life is just a contract thing. It's not like it matters." Akira said as she looked at herself in the mirror. "If it doesn't matter than why are we still here?" Zander said annoyed with her. "If him liking you doesn't matter why are you trying to get him to like you?" Nora walked over to him to stop him from talking but Zander wasn't having it. "I mean you said it yourself, 'its just a contract' thing so why does it matter so much?" Akira turned looking at him.

"Because I'm tired of feeling like I'm an obligation and not a person." Akira said as she put the blouse back on the rack. "No matter how much I try to talk to him I feel like it's just to talk not to actually know me." A tear slipped from her eye. " I feel like I am the side piece that no one loves. aside from you two. I just want him to like me so I can feel like I'm more than the used toy at the bottom of the bin." Akira began to sob. " It hurts to love him while knowing that he probably is going 6 inches deep into someone right now." Akira grabbed her stuff that she came in with. "I need to go home. I need to collect my thoughts." Akira walked out of the store with Nora and Zander following behind her.
