Dungeon: Second Floor

2nd floor. 

Ishigami is confused.

He thought that he's in the underground, but when he arrived at the second floor, he was shocked to see a full moon in the night sky.

It's like this place is a graveyard in those old horror movies.

However, he didn't think about that for now and ran to where the loud noises came from.

"Whoah! What the—I almost fell."

He didn't see the end of the cliff, but fortunately, he stopped and almost fell.

He sighs in relief, then makes an o-shape in his mouth, wearing a curious expression, thinking, What is that?

On the other side, he saw a large, windowless old chapel.

While looking at the old chapel, he immediately noticed an old bridge near him. 

It is held up by ropes that look like they are about to break.

The boards below are rotten through, and where some knots have come loose, the planks have fallen off, leaving nothing but empty space where they should have been.

Below the bridge are countless corpses. 

He doesn't know if this corpse came from the world or from the previous owner of this world, so he decided not to think about it since overthinking might lead to misunderstanding.

Anyway, he tried to cross the bridge.

Fortunately, it didn't break as he expected, and he safely landed on the other side.

Seeing the surroundings, he can see countless corpses of cockroaches.

He doesn't know why, but he felt pity instead of disgusting them.

However, he immediately learned why as soon as he saw a human-sized cockroach.

This cockroach has a crown, making him think that this might be the king of the cockroaches here.

But that's not the main reason here.

He felt a strong connection with this cockroach, so he thought to help the king cockroach, but unfortunately, it's already dead.

It's unfortunate, but he doesn't have a way to save the king cockroach.

He might rule the lives of the living things that are born in this world, but it has many limitations, including resurrection.

Except for him, Esdeath, and some dungeon bosses, no other living being can be resurrected.

Well, reincarnation does exist inside the lost island, so he thought that this might be better than nothing, though they have no memories of their past lives.

Anyway, since it came to this, he decided to move on and enter the chapel.

*Boom!

As soon as he enters, smoke and dust erupt.

He covered his face to look at the situation.

Unfortunately, the dust is so thick that he can't see what's happening inside.

For safety reasons, he decided not to go in immediately and let the smoke disappear.

A minute later, he saw sparks in different areas.

The wind breeze hardly as the attack repels all the smoke.

There, he can see the ant is fighting with someone.

The ant flew away and landed barely on the ground, creating a small quake and a hole.

Looking at the ant's opponent, he couldn't believe what he saw.

The ant's opponent is a beautiful young girl who looks like she is 14 years old or younger.

She has short stature, pale skin, crimson eyes, and silver hair that is tied in a ponytail.

She wears a soft black evening dress with lace embellishments and a short, tailored jacket with a big, heavy skirt.

Looking down at the ant, the girl sneeringly said, "How dare an ant like you provoke me? "

Her eyes are full of killing intent, but she still kept up her ladylike appearance and didn't rush to kill the ant.

Suddenly, she noticed Ishigami, who was stunned by the situation.

The dread aura she let out suddenly disappeared as she kneeled before Ishigami without any care about the ant.

"The guardian of the first, second, and third floors, Shalltear Bloodfallen, I rejoice as I finally meet you, The Supreme One."
