New life

Ceil gathering everyone wasn't too late, but by the looks of it, Kilo did that on purpose.

Araceli glared at the humans using his working eye, wearing there outfits in this cool night and giggling uncontrollably.

They had recovered Berry's body, his halo burning a few grass shoots, but thank goodness it didn't alarm the talking humans.

Araceli still wanted to stay there and see what they were doing with Kilo, who had fallen asleep, but Suga's voice was close to his ear as he whispered, "Araceli, you can't stay here.. if Kilo sacrificees himself to save Berry, then it's worth the risk of doing that. You can't get caught and put his work to waste." Then Suga pulled Araceli from the bushes, and together, they ascended back up to the sky, but not so high that one of them will be seen again.

-----

It was morning as Kilo woke up, and bright sunshine glared into his face. He narrowed his dark purple eyes to see through it. Then he looked around confusingly. He was in a net.

A net? He questioned himself.

Oh. I saved Berry by sacrificing myself. Wow, great job me. But he didn't mean it.

Trying to at least move around, he was still covered by his wings, white and gray flashing in his eyes. Only he was able to realize how he was in the net by looking over it.

It's cramped in here!! He wiggled a lot, then, remembering the ropes were weak, he broke through. He felt something else break though, but paid no attention.

What-

The place Kilo was in was like no other, he was behind bars. The sunlight came from a window he was facing, then, he turned quickly when he heard footsteps and voices.

"..yea. They were claiming they found a Fallen Angel? Like what?" A proud woman's voice was echoing as the footsteps came closer.

"Well, if it is.. then.. it's really gonna sell lots." Now, it was a sly man's voice. Surprise surprise, they had reached as soon as the man said that.

Kilo's eyes were still narrowed, but the woman out of the new people jumped back, while the man just stood there, glaring at Kilo.

"What?" Kilo asked, his voice ruff.

I don't need to ask questions. I don't need to panic. I already experienced this, and it's quite not so bad. It's just I have to fly away. Kilo was thinking all of that even though he looked calm but dirty on the outside.

"Dang, you really need to see if that's a male or a female." The man finally said, his eyes shut tight.

Kilo knew that clothing which the man was wearing. The same one Abi was wearing, right? Is Abi short for Abigail or Abika?

Or Dave. Yes, Dave.

Instead, this man had a coat replacing the jacket. He wasn't even wearing it, it was just stuck to his back. Weird looking. Kilo amused the clothing. He had blue hair and glasses, wide circled.

The man stuck his hand between the bars and waved. Kilo just watched him.

What? That's something Azula would do just to pluck one of Kilo's white feather off.

Oh. The man glistered a come here sign.

"Come here," he said. Kilo stood up, walked only 3 feet there, then returned it with a "cone here."

The woman looked insulted, even though he wasnt even talking to her.

"No, you come here, Fallen Angel." The man stuck a hint of commanding anger in his voice. Kilo still refused.

"Come here!" He made his voice mimicking a baby's. The man looked embarrassed and furious at the same time.

"COME HERE!" He shouted loudly.

"Come here little baby!!" Kilo turned around in a circle, flapping his wings playfully.

The man then slammed his fist on one of the bars angrily, then sighed to calm himself down.

"I am a Slave Seller. You must just call me Slave owner or something close to that." He said importantly.

"Is that clear?" He asked Kilo, then fixed his glasses.

"Ok, so, your that type, huh?" Kilo could now proudly not act his body's age, but now any age he could actually mimic. "Dang, well, I guess so." Then shrugged.

"What species are you exactly?" The woman talked without a break.

"Oh, I forgot your here." Kilo turned his head back to the window as he could already tell that woman was fuming.

"Uh, not gonna tell you, thank you." Kilo stated firmly.

"Oh, but you are going to tell me- huh? Where's that necklace you had on?" The woman was staring at his neck, confusion mixing with doubt.

Kilo now remembered something, then looked at the nets to see what else he broke.

"Ah uh, oh. Whoops, I broke that thing off!" Kilo faked a sympathetic tone, then turned back to the bars where the two people were standing. Acting like a 8 year old boy again so I can get myself out of trouble, Kilo thought satisfactionly.

Slave Seller had his hand on his face, then dragged it down as he stared at Kilo tiredly.

"What could I call you, miss?" Kilo asked the woman, though he knew he wouldn't care about what words will come out of her mouth.

"I know your mocking me!" She yelled at Kilo.

Kilo sighed. Then he spotted something on the roof.

Opening his wings, Kilo finally stretched his aching companions on his back and jumped.

It was like a box, but Kilo forgotten what it was for. He slapped it with his tail over and over again, already bored with the couple on the ground.

"Welp, if that's what your going to do, that's what your going to get," the Slave Seller closed his eyes then coughed, looking up at the Kilo that was hanging from the box now.

Then the box started talking. First, quiet, the Kilo flew away as it boomed a loud voice, saying, "ATTENTION ALL SLAVES! IT IS TIME FOR SLAVE SELLING!! GET WASHED UP AND WAIT FOR YOUR TURN TO GO ON THE STAGE."

MY EARINGS ARE RINGING! The man laughed and the woman pointed and mocked Kilo's words.

"Is your ears ringing?" Slave Seller asked, stopping his laugh quickly.

"Yes, but not as much as you must had hoped so." Kilo flew down to the ground and sat down. "What's that?" He asked curiously.

I've already seen it, I knew what I was doing, but I wanted to break that darn thing again. I don't know the name though...

"A speaker. Hey! Over here! Quickly! This boy is going first." He shouted to something Kilo couldn't see.

EWWWW!!

"EWWWW!" His mind and is mouth yelled at the same time. A elf servant was coming to his bars with a bucket of water, and he saw Kilo too.

"UGH! WHAT IS THAT THING DOING HERE, MASTER!?" The old man jumped back, almost spilling the water on Slave Seller and lady.

Slave Seller jerked in surprise. "Do you know each other?" He asked.

"Of course not, it's just that something similar looking attacked us one time! Ughhh!!"

"Your overreacting dude." Kilo said to the elf man. "Even if I said 'eww' to your disgraceful presence, I didn't continue. Ugh, overreacters." Then rolled his eyes.

I want to tease this one. Kilo smiled slyly and walked up to the bars. The elf jumped back, hitting a wall and spilling water on himself.

"Oh My Goodness!" Kilo gasped dramatically, having fun for no reason whatsoever. "Oh no, you wasted water on yourself! I thought you were professional??" Kilo laughed. "I thought all elfs were good at service!" Then collapsed on the sunlit floor and played dead.

"YOU- URGH!" Slave Seller's voice was furious.

"ATTENTION, SLAVE NO.1 IS TO BE ON STAGE RIGHT NOW." It boomed then quickly turned back off again.

Lady faceplamed herself then with a snap of her finger, the bars that didn't even have a door disappeared.

OMG! Time to get shelled and fly away!! Kilo jumped back up and ran the direction he thought the stage was.

"WAIT!!!" Slave Seller yelled after Kilo.

Kilo just ran faster, bars of slave prisons flashing by, and his tail and hair was streaming behind him.

"YOUR NOT EVEN CLEANED YET!!" Slave Seller's voice fainted as the surroundings became darker, then Kilo slammed right into a door. "OUCH!" He refused to sit there and wait, so he felt for the door knob and twisted it open.

Darkness surrendered to light as Kilo's eye adjusted back to the light.

A masked person was looking at Kilo, his eyes and half of his face covered but his mouth hanged open.

"I'm here." Kilo gasped for air, forgetting to fly when he was running here.

He knew how he must look. Dirty, his pants covered in dusty dirt, his hair literally not even combed or brushed out, so it was as tangled as ever, and his glorious white feathers were looking dull white to him.

"What is that?"

"That's beautiful!"

"Who's the beauty?I don't care if he or she is dirty, but I am betting!"

Signs went up all around the huge room, and Kilo trekked out into more light so people can see him properly, and bathed in the praise.

"Spread your wings out, whatever gender you are!" A voice shouted, then lots of people agreed.

I don't know why, but this never happened in my past life! And Kilo spread his wings, showing off this strange boy's body.

In Kilo's past life, which was quite blurry, he wasn't ever praised this much, only it was quiet as he got sold, them thinking he was a Birdtail man, not a Fallen Angel.

"300,009 gold!!"

"No, 400,271 gold!"

"800,000. 800,000 gold." A mans firm and dedicated voice made everyone forget their bet.

"I swear that man is super rich, ugh." Someone whispered then went silent as Kilo assumed he was looking around.

The masked person held up a hand and shouted, "1..2...3... SOLD!" Then bowed has it rubbed it's hands.

Kilo looked around for the mysterious man, but couldn't see him has he was handled by to guards and dragged away.

"THAT WAS FUN!!" He shouted, and whipped the guards by mistake with his tail, tripping both of them.

-----

Slave Seller looked at the betting in his office, thoroughly shocked that the same man came again but didn't joke this time.

His office was lit with sun light, mid-day just raising, and 2 chairs sat empty in front of him, velvet and yellow outlining.

"Uh.. th-thats a lot of money.." he whispered.

"And the last time he offered a million, he wasn't joking, but didn't buy that girl child.. now he is getting this boy?" Slave Seller grinned.

The highest I've gotten was only 400,000 gold. So this is a extreme amount. I'm rich now.

"Dear, the money was just sent in and now you have to meet the man." Aqua walked through the door of Slave Seller's office, holding a large suitcase in her gloved hand. Then she tripped but got back up quickly.

"Ok, Aqua. I think I told you not to call me dear?" Slave Seller closed his eyes, annoyed, then fixed his glasses quickly.

"Ok, sorry. Now you have to meet him now." Aqua walked towards Slave Seller, then put down the large suitcase. "500,000 in here, and the rest is with him." Slave Seller opened one eye and took a quick look at the suitcase with a gray green mixed eye.

"Hmm. Did you see the amount? Really, is this it?" He asked suspiciously, knowing lots of people tried to get away with about 200,900 coins to give him.

"Yes, I check it alright. Can't have that mistake of gold coins again. In this suitcase is 5 large '100,000's. I'm sure." Aqua smiled and sat down in the velvet yellow chair right in front of Slave Seller.

Then, Aqua opened the suitcase, and he saw exactly 5 large '100,000's and all of it gold. It shone in the mid-day sun light and it got in his eyes.

Slave Seller then sat up, and looked at the coins in awe.

"That's real! It's getting reflected in the mid-day sun light!" Now he knew this wasn't a scam, and Aqua smirked as he got up, tense but ready, and ran to the door.
