Ch 152: Ones new fate
Xalroz worded that in a way to be a reminder of an interesting little detail that went on down there. Something he notices that this human had seen with his eyes to give him a chance to strike Archie in the face when the guard was down to do so.
"Fuck… if what I just saw that night under the town is the town, this elf isn't what he seems to be. No, what am I saying? The shadow wasn't even that of an elf at all. It shared the look of a different creature; one no person could mistake for being those things." Archie thought while doing his best to stay calm in this room.
Knowing a thing like this makes this guy need to be smart and not get himself killed by a demon in disguise as a dark elf behind him. A good thing to do is just play the simple guy till it goes away, and he can get away from this town. Of course, Archie does hope that Goldie and Gus somehow don't get killed when a group of invaders come.
