I need to get my thoughts on events out there.

1. So, can we all agree that every other character's lack of foresight into Issei's mental health and how, for a lack of better terms, shitty it is, is sad? Issei with in like 2 months of being a devil died to his first ever "love" (fuck you Raynare), got revived, almost died, saw Asia die, almost died again, almost died against riser, almost died to Kokabeil, must fight vali, and then must fight Loki and gets really close to death again (thank god for Ravel existing), thinks he lost Asia for the 2nd time, almost dies to Juggernaut Drive, and finally within those like 2 months almost dies against his own evil clone. Overall, I do not think any normal person could have stayed as strong as he did. Issei's trauma with girls is what prevents him from confessing to Rias, and then he gets berated for it? Like WTF! Hes a HIGHSCHOOLER for god's sake! Hes like, what, 15 when he is turned into a devil, does not get near enough time to fully train, and understand his situation when he is forced to beat anything he has put up against until season 4, and what we are supposed to feel bad for Rias because he would not say her fucking NAME? His trauma was as deep as the other peerage members and even they berated him when he did not confess minus Ravel. There are some characters I get, Sirzechs is too busy with the devil side of things to have noticed, and he is always swamped with paperwork, so I understand that he does not notice. Grayfia gets like 3 interactions with him if you count the OVA so that is also understandable. Odin has even less interactions along with Baraqiel, Odin, Ajuka, Kiyome Abe, Sona and her peerage and Yasaka with Wukong all had not had enough interaction time to notice however most of the other characters do not have an excuse. Akeno has had some of the most and longest hearts to hearts with Issei and as a trauma survivor herself I would think she would notice some of the signs, like how Issei is always unwilling to go further, but no she along with most of the orc considered him an idiot for not confessing. Koneko has always been a little mean to him with verbal insults and sometimes even physical attacks, that are unneeded and abusive. Irina hadn't really had a before and after Raynare image so she kind of gets a pass since she hadn't been able to see how he was before his own demise. Xenovia is in the same boat as Irina and didn't know the full story. Kiba swore to be his brother but didn't sit and help him saying "I can get what the girls are going through" and all that BS so he gets a 1/10 on the bro scale. Ravel did nothing wrong. Rossweisse and Azazel weren't there but as the most mature I believe they should have, with all their experience, been able to see past Issei's mask and would've helped him with his trauma, Azazel is over a thousand years old for fuck's sake. Gasper didn't have the full story and he just went along with his senpai's, but I think he probably would've seen Issei's genuine fear and tried to help. Asia should've been more caring and not have tooken Rias's side immediately. Rias... where do I begin? She questions his love even though he has almost died for her on several occasions, she spouts off about her own feelings without taking into consideration his, she had the most interaction with Issei and should have been able to see what was wrong almost immediately but no she was ignorant and a fool and in real life would have cost her probably a suicidal or depressed Issei, and for saying she loves him she doesn't really have a good way of showing it, she gets jealous so easily, makes a bunch of misunderstandings which end up eventually hurting Issei, berates him for not saying her name, starts fights with the other girls for no apparent reason, and it genuinely seems like Issei leads the team more than she does. They say no man is a island, but it sure sounds like Issei is forced to be one.

2. The fandoms hate for Issei is BS. All the fanfics have him replaced, completely fuck his character up, or just make him disappear. I've seen writers make him 10 times more preferred and instead of having Canon essay always asking for consent, they have him being basically a rapist. other fanfics just completely ignore his character put in some overpowered OP OC bullshit, and just give his harem to them claiming that he's too perverted to have it when they make the OC so much more perverted. the fandom just genuinely hates Issei because aside from his perverseness there is no flaws with his character, he works hard to gain his strength, he has struggles that allow him to grow stronger and allow him to become a better person and pass the perverseness you can truly make reasons for why some of the girls fall for him, No I take that back make it most girls fall for him. He is a genuinely hard-working loving and caring individual, he isn't afraid to put his own life on the line to protect his loved ones, and he is not afraid to sacrifice his own life to make sure his people are safe. However, we get all these fan fictions that change his character completely and make him a rapist, pedo, and genuine shitbag well ignoring all the trauma the growth the fact that he would never do anything like what the fanfic riders make him. why is it that all the fanfic writers, I take that back why is it that some fanfic writers seem to just ignore his personal character tidbits and just go for the whole make him a 1-dimensional perverted rapist, well ignoring all his hard work, all his actual characteristics, and just completely change him. Fanfics they could seem like Draig it's him which is quite the opposite Drake has a soft spot for him and even considers him a little brother, that or a son, they really don't clarify which. I'm just getting annoyed at people ignoring his character, and just making him the worst person to ever exist.
