Chapter 7: Fight Me

The class looks at him in amazement, not knowing something like this can be made from demon ores. 

"How does it work? And How did it get made?" a kid asked

"It was made with my blood and reacts to my thoughts," he replied 

"Boy, who made that?" Drake asked, walking up to him. "Fight me," he said as he could feel the energy coming off him.

Adam didn't want to show everyone his full power, so he used his strength and speed to use hand-to-hand combat. Adam thought of a light-layered robe secured by a belt with fighting surrounding him. He dashes forward, thinking he could beat him by throwing a roundhouse kick, only missing by an inch, jumping off the walls and moving so fast that no one could see him.

Going in for a punch, it was blocked Immediately, followed by a punch straight to Adam's face.

Drake jumped back in shock as his fist just passed right through Adam

"What's your ability, Boy," he said, holding his sword in his hand as it glowed red 

"Would you like to see?" Adam said, walking towards the door. "I'd rather do it in private."

Drake followed, putting Elizabeth in charge.

As soon as they left the room, Adam turned towards Drake and took a deep breath. Suddenly, his body started glowing with a bright light, and his eyes turned a deep shade of blue. Drake took a step back, surprised at what he was seeing.

"I have the power of some type of blue flame, and I can control other elements like lighting," Adam said as he raised his hand toward Drake.

Intense lightning shot out of his hand, heading straight toward Drake. But Drake was quick to react and blocked the beam with his sword. The lightning was so strong that it caused the sword to crack, and Drake stumbled back, barely managing to keep his balance. "Your power is impressive," Drake said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "But don't think that this means you can beat me. I'm the best swordsman in the military and won't go down that easily."

Adam smiled, feeling a surge of energy activating his fox cloke forming claws. He had been looking for a challenge and finally found it. He knew that he had to be careful, though, as Drake was a skilled fighter and could easily defeat him if he wasn't on his guard. The two stared at each other for a moment, and then they both charged forward, ready to battle. The clashing swords echoed through the hallway as they fought, each determined to come out on top. 

In the end, Drake won. It was a close fight. He had to use everything he had, which he hadn't used in a while. He walked over to Adam, helping him to his feet. 

"Adam, meet me here in two days," Drake said, walking off.

As Adam walked through the wall, he noticed that Max was getting jumped by other guys in a corner. 

"Give me your mojo," The guy said, holding Max against the wall with a knife to his throat. 

"What if I don't want to?" Max said, trying to use his plasma ability 

"What do you think you're doing, you bitch?" he said, punching him in his chest as he coughed up blood.

There was a flash that passed by, kicking them all to the ground 

"Max, what are you getting into?" Adam asked

"They were trying to rob me for my mojo," he replied. "I don't know why they always bully us level ones."

"yeah," Adam said, agreeing with Max.

Adam walked to the VR pods to fight more challenging people. He left soon after because it was almost time for him to return to his dorm room before curfew. When he got back, Shawn and Tyler were both knocked. 

"Hey, Dad, when will the demons come for me?"

[Skill locked]

"Huh system, what happened to my dad?"

[Request declined]

He didn't know what happened, but he wanted to be able to talk to his dad again.

The next day, they had to get to their homeroom classes so they could look at a demon and explore the planet for new demons.

"Class, get in groups of five for the planet stroll. There will be two teachers there, so you don't have to be worried about being killed," Blake said

Adam asked Shwan, Max, Elizabeth, and Tyler but hoped they would run into Lucas as he was the strongest. 

"We will be heading out in 5," Blake said, walking to the door.

They all lined up in the portal room, waiting for directions from the first-years general, Mike.

"One by everyone, enter the portal, but hold on to each other so you don't get lost."

Each group went in to explore the planet. The rules were to see anything higher than an advanced tier to report back and get help immediately, and the group with the most points wins.

So far, their group had just been fighting low tier demons and scoping out the land to find something that other people didn't.

Suddenly, Max was missing, and no one could find him until they saw him trying to fend off this dragon demon-looking thing. Soon, they saw red lights shooting in the sky.

"DAMN IT MAX, WATCH OUT!" Adam screamed as a big explosion took place. "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE FOR THAT," Adam said as he felt his blood boiling.

A suit of armor formed on his body, and blades of blue flame and glowing tails and ears formed, forming one big arrow. He throws it at the dragon demon straight down, trying to kill it in one attack.

"That power is the demon gods. Brother, we found you—the fox demon." A deep voice came from inside the dragon. "Brother, come, we have to take you back home to the demon realm."

"The demon god? Adam, you're a demon," All 3 of them said in shock.
