Andreas's POV

Getting involved with this woman was a bad idea. A nagging sense of foreboding had initially warned me against getting too close, but like a moth to a flame, I just couldn't resist the pull. The ease with which she now gravitated towards me was a surprise, leaving me both intrigued and apprehensive.

How she became comfortable around me was perplexing, as if we were old acquaintances rather than two strangers thrust together by fate. Her proximity, though confusing, ignited a turmoil within me.

The way she got into my private space was both exhilarating and unnerving. The slender gap that separated us seemed inconsequential, like a fragile thread on the edge of snapping.

With how close she was standing, her scent was all over the place and the fact that she hadn't taken her bath all day made it even more intense. I wasn't sure about what I was getting myself into by getting involved with her, but after coming this far, I figured that it was a risk I wanted to take.
