Chapter 30 CHAPTER
After eating dinner with my family and Josh, it’s time for Honey to go to bed. We’re in her room, and I lay beside her and tuck her under the duvet.
“Have a good rest Honey.” Josh placed a kiss on Honey’s forehead and she gave him a warm hug, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Thank you so much Uncle Josh. Goodnight mommy, happy birthday!” Honey smiles at me and I lean closer and kisses her cheek.
“Goodnight baby, I love you.” I brush my fingers through her hair one last time before stepping away from the bed.
When Josh and I reach the door, I turned off the light. We stepped out of Honey’s bedroom and I closed the door with a soft thud.
“Josh, thank you so much for being here always.” I told him as we entered my bedroom.
“Of course Yoo-Mi, you’re my very best friend and I’ll do anything to make you happy.” He pulled me closer and gave me a gentle hug.
I feel something wet drop onto my cheek, and I startle. Wiping my tear, I let out a soft sigh.
