Emma's Pov

"Chris, huh? His name is coming up more often than anything else.... I think I will have to look into him later. For now, I'll like to ask some questions to you, and I would like you to answer them honestly, if you truly are sorry about what you did to me. Okay?"

Henry said that while staring straight into Emma's eyes.

'Fuck , Fuck , Fuck , damnit, I fucked up. Chris that bastard definitely told me not to mention about him and what he told me but in the heat of the moment I slipped up.... And what's with him , how did he changed so much that he's a completely different person. Does losing one's parents change them this much? The Henry I know was the sweetest person I've ever seen and the person in front of me is cold , he's treating me like some random nobody.' 

While she was in deep thought Henry disrupted her by snapping his fingers close to her face.

She didn't even notice when his hand came so close to her face.

"Is it that hard to tell the truth? Didn't you tell me you were sorry about what you did to me? Is it too much to ask for some truth as an apology?"

His face told Emma that he didn't expect much from Emma. It really pissed Emma.

'He really believed everything we told him that day. I know I did the things that I told that day , but , I did those because Chris forced me to do so. That's why I'm even trying to apologize. Otherwise, someone like you wouldn't be able to talk to me much less insult me.

It's really pissing me off. This is the first time I tried to apologize to a guy and this bastard is looking down on me. I'm really missing the old Henry now.

Aah fuck this! Let's just do whatever he wants for once, for the sake of all the love he gave me in all our highschool years. But, still I really would like to have my old Henry back if possible.'

"Fine, I'll answer. But , first tell me one thing, do you still love me? Even if a little?Is there any chance that we could be like before or something?"

'What am I saying? Have I gone crazy? I might be looking so desperate in his eyes. Aaaaaaah!'

Emma could see Henry was thinking something then he asked.

"If I say yes, then will you answer my questions honestly?"

Emma didn't know how to respond to that because if she agreed she would look desperate but , if she denied and he said 'no' then she would be really disappointed. 

Disappointed?

'Wait , do I want him to love me? Nah! That's ridiculous! I just probably want my pet back. Ya that's all. I'm just over thinking things. whatever.'

"Yes."

She said pretending not to care anymore. 

"Okay , I still have feelings for you, but how I treat you from now on will depend on you. So , please answer my questions honestly, and if I find your answers satisfactory, then I'll treat you more nicely."

That reply made Emma really happy. Even after all what happened Henry still loved her. 

Emma was sure now , that there's no other guy in the world who could love her more than Henry.

"Really!" 

In her excitement the words slipped out of her mouth.

"Yes ,really. Now tell me , Why were you using me all those years? Was that also because Chris told you to do?"

Henry didn't waste time and his questions was straight forward.

' So , he doesn't believe it was a prank and we lied that day? Well , we did tell him the truth that day but....Chris told me to bury that day's incident by disguising it as a prank, but he doesn't seem to believe it to be a prank even after I told him so many times. Well , it's not his fault, I wouldn't have believed that either. The one who is being unreasonable is that Chris bastard. If it wasn't for those pics and videos I would have killed him by now. Damnit... Should I tell him the truth? And tell him to keep it a secret from anyone, I do want to tell someone about what I'm going through , and there's only 2 person who I can trust. And I can't tell mom. So that's only leaves him. Will he keep my secret?'

Emma decided to trust Henry and share some of her secrets which she was bottling up for all her highschool years.

"Promise me that what I'm going to tell you you won't tell anyone. I'm trusting you because how much I saw you love me for all those years. So please, keep my promise."

Emma saw Henry's expression change hearing her words but she couldn't tell,what he was feeling or thinking.

"Fine, I promise that whatever you tell me from now on will stay between us. Now, you can tell me anything and everything, without any fear. Because, I never break my promise unlike a certain someone."

Emma's face turned a little red hearing the last phrase Henry said.

Because she remembered a promise that she made to Henry a long time ago, which apparently she couldn't keep.

"Ahem! If I'm going to tell you the truth anyways, then I think I should start from the the very beginning. But , I think we should change places, because, first this is not the appropriate place to talk about what I'm going to say and second it's a really long story so we will occupy our table for too long."

Henry also seemed to understand what she was saying. 

"Then , where do you suggest we should go?"

Emma already had a place in mind that she wanted to go but she couldn't say that straight because it would look weird. So she decided to suggest that in a roundabout way.

"I would feel safe if it were my house but , I can't take a boy home because of mom. A hotel room would also be safer but it would look weird if we went there just the two of us and on top of that it also costs a lot of money. So that leaves only one place your house. What do you say?"
