Chapter 14:

We were home, after wasting time on that delinquents, i mean why did they had to waste my time and confront the past, which i didn't wanted, Anyways, veronica's happy since that so i guess it was worth it

Suddenly, veronica got a call. She reached her phone which was on a table and picked up the call

" Hello mom .... Why ?, ok got it" well it ended fast as hell, it was call from veronica's mother, i wonder what was that about.

" Darling, we gotta go" 

" Huh.... Why ?" i didn't knew where we were going and why we were going

" My mom, i guess it will be your mom too so, Our mom called us to meet you"

" WHATT!!!" i was drinking water quietly, suddenly i spitted the water and started coughing

" There, There" she was patting my back

" Well since it's order from yo- Our mother, i guess we should go"

After that, we got ready and went to basement to get car. We were on our way to veronica's home

" Is it something about our relationship ? " i asked with curiosity

" Well yes, they wanted to meet you but, because they were abroad in other country for some work, they couldn't meet you, they are quite excited to meet you"

" How and why?, i haven't done anything that will catch their attention soo much that they would want to meet me"

" Well they were quite excited when i told them i got a boyfriend(husband), but after the delinquents incident, when i told them details of that, they became restless and called us ASAP"

" Should i worry about something like: You are not suitable for our daughter, You have nothing, etc , the typical crap"

" No, don't worry, my parents are cool with that and to be honest, they wanted someone like you to be my boyfriend(husband)"

So after some more conversation, we finally reached our destination. Their house was like a enormous castle with a road and all, there were gardeners, maids, there were security guards, and more. 

After parking the car, we went inside the house, its house just in name, its a damn huge castle to be honest. While walking, we saw 2 figures coming at us, there was a man with sharp facial features, a lean body build, black hair, blue eyes, handsome is what i could say and the women had a beautiful yet mature face, perfect figure, long white hairs and red eyes, a world class beauty

Just looking at them, anyone could say that they were the parents of veronica. 

" Mom and dad, we are here" 

Veronica's mother came running and hugged me, it looks like it is tradition to hug somebody you met

" Hello, Mr and Mrs Crownsworth "

"Ohh please, don't be shy, you can call us mother and father" veronica's mom wanted me to call them mother and father

" I can't possibly do that, it will be rude'

" Haha, this kid is acting polite, that wasn't what we heard when you wwere fighting bunch of delinquents" This time the father spoke

" Well they dared to insult my girlfriend, it's good that i didn't went too far or they would literally beg me for death themselves"

" Hahaha, you sure got guts" Well as veronica said, both of them were cool

" Ohh dear, are you gonna just stand there and talk, come inside both of you, we will sit and talk"

We went and sat on the sofa

" Oh xion, tell us about your childhood, ohh sorry i didn't mea-"

" Don't worry, its not that painful now that i have veronica by my side"

I could see the hearts in veronica's eyes and the smile she was giving, well it is true after all

So, i told them story of all the things i have been through

" Ohh poor little boy" veronica's mom hugged me again

" MOM!!" well here we go, veronica was jealous and started to seperate her mother from me, the dad was just having fun with all this

" Ohh dear, you sure are hiding that handsome face, we can't have that, Maria come here"

" Yes madam, i am here"

" Get this boy groomed and also have him wear expensive clothes, the clothes which suits him" 

"Ok mam, please come with me Mr shadowborne" wait i didn't ever mentioned my surname, how do they-, never mind, its useless to question

After some time i came out, my hairs were properly cut, the clothes were also suiting me 

" Darling!!" veronica looked like she was gonna faint 

" Ohh dear" her mother sat on the sofa, shock could be seen on her face

" Damn lad, you were hiding this from us" her father was also shocked from my looks 

I didn't care enough for my looks, nor did i pay any attention to that but yeah, i was often told in my childhood that i was peak handsome, and also in my days as 'black emperor' of a gang, people used to call me the most handsome, but sometimes that became problematic, so i didn't care and became gloomy nerd
